Prophetic word for 2014

 As I write this word for 2014, it is my deepest desire to correctly articulate what the Holy Spirit has given me for the New Year. 1 Corinthians 13:9 says “For we know in part and we prophesy in part” with that understanding, this is my portion for the body of Christ.

Spirit, Soul & Body

 The Spirit of the Lord is bringing healing to the Church as a whole person this year spirit, soul & body. God is bringing the Church into a new alignment with His will and purposes that will greatly affect His people for the good. The areas of your life that have not been in agreement with the Holy Spirit are going to be brought to light this year for the purpose of healing, restoration and deliverance. Where there have been wounds from the past that have hindered your ability to function in wholeness, God is doing a deep work that will produce abundant life in His people.

The Apostle Paul wrote the following:

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is expanding His kingdom into many places of influence where the Church needs to be ready to demonstrate Gods love. This is why there needs to be wholeness in the body of Christ, so we can give out of the depth of love that has been poured into our hearts through Christ. Its time for the Church to be whole!

Overcoming dualism

 God is dealing with wrong understandings that have created conflict within the Church about the spirit and the soul. There have been dualistic teachings that have kept many people in bondage to a performance based relationship with God. This kind of teaching has been harmful to the body of Christ because it separates the spiritual from the natural, and creates a wrong understanding of how God views the individual person. Many people have been taught that the spirit is good, but the soul and body are corrupt, needing to be brought into submission to the spirit. This understanding is incorrect, and does not take into account that the spirit and soul are deeply intergraded and do not function apart from one other. God wants the Church to stop living their lives miserably for Him, to stop living as though we are not pleasing God because of a lack of spiritual performance (not enough prayer, not reading the bible, or denying self). There are multiple layers to what this looks like, but I feel like God is going to give the Church greater revelation regarding how much He loves us (our entire being) and how to function as a whole person in the earth.

Led by the Spirit

 The Father has been looking for sons & daughters that will yield to the leading of His Spirit. This will become clearly evident in the days ahead, as God is going to display His purposes through those that are led by the Spirit of God, and not by the spiritual climate in the world.  The leading of the Holy Spirit is going to take on a new dimension in 2014, because many people are being freed from patterns of living and wrong thinking that have hindered their walk with God; He is going to free many for the purpose of leading many.

Romans 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Character matters

 2014, will be a time when the character of Christ is going to come to the forefront of the Church. There has been a great imbalance regarding our focus on the power and works of God, yet operating without the character of God. God wants His Church to function with all the resources of heaven, but He also wants His people to function with His character.

Character can be defined as the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves, someone’s personality. God is going to develop the character of Christ in His people that desire to be more like Him, this will require a much needed sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as He shows us the things that need changed in our hearts and minds. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is going to appear in the lives of Gods people this year in an extraordinary way, due to a willingness to yield to His inward working.

God is also in the process of redefining what ministry looks like, He is getting to the core of our value system, regarding what we do. Ministry by definition is about serving others, not about serving yourself. Everything Jesus did was for the benefit of others, from turning water into wine, to washing the disciple’s feet; He taught that whoever wants to be greatest must become a servant of all. I feel like God is going to give us new perspective regarding ministry, He is reveling the motives and intentions of the heart as we move forward into maturity.

The last will be first

 We have entered a time where the last will be first, and the first will be last. Many people have bypassed Gods way to get to the front of the line in regard to “success” at any cost. There have also been many people that have chosen to take the lowest seat; and have not attempted to be first in line. Because of this decision, not to run to the front of the line, they will not be passed by in this new season. God is going to promote many people who have been patiently waiting their turn. He is going to exalt those who have humbled themselves, and bring low, those who have been unwilling to humble themselves.

Luke 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

There has been a refining fire moving through the body of Christ that is now causing a deep humility to flow out of the hearts of Gods people. This humility is an entrance into a deeper intimacy with the Lord. God is going to exalt those who have chosen to humble themselves over this past year, as He has been doing an inward work in His people that have yielded their hearts to Him. (Luke 14:7-11)

Identity being restored

 We have entered a time of full restoration, as the Father is restoring the identity of His sons and daughters who have forgotten who they were, and have departed from His will. The enemy has attempted to destroy the lives of many people, and keep them from accomplishing what God has purposed for their lives. The Lord is intervening on their behalf right now, and bringing to their remembrance the Fathers love for them. This is a time where those that have seemingly departed from the Fathers will, and chosen a path in life that has led them to destruction, are going to “come to their senses” and return to their Fathers house. The Father is going to place the robe of identity and the ring of authority on many sons and daughters that have walked away and been hurt in the body of Christ. He is restoring their identity, because they belong to Him. (Luke 15:11-32)

Financial independence

 2014 will be a year of financial independence for many people. There are wise investments, and financial breakthroughs that God will give insights and strategy for, if we are willing to wait for His leading. 2014 will be a year when multiplication comes upon many people’s finances; as we are entering into a time when people are going to experience what it truly means to be debt free. Many people are going to experience ownership for the first time, I feel like there will be houses, lands, cars, investments that are paid for in full this year, giving people full ownership of what they posses.

In early 2013 the Lord spoke to me about the price of silver, that it was a good time to buy and invest, I believe there are many opportunities to increase financially if we ask the Lord to show us.

Love breakthrough

 The Holy Spirit is highlighting 1 Corinthians chapter 13 this year. Because there has been a surface understanding of love that the Church has demonstrated to the world, I feel like we are going to experience a deeper revelation and demonstration of love this year that will transform us into a greater expression of Jesus Christ. God has given the Church a clear blueprint of what love looks like as we read the verves below:

 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

Jesus Christ is the complete definition and fulfillment of true love; I believe the Church is going to experience a love breakthrough this year that will change our priorities and reshape our focus back to His character and likeness.

Unexpected Promotion in the Face of Opposition

I had an interesting dream last night that Abba woke me up early so I could post before heading into the office.

In this dream – that appeared to be taking place sometime in the late ‘50s early 60’s - I was a young African-American Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force heading to a training camp for advanced training. When I arrived I received a written notification from “Command” that I had been promoted to 1st Lieutenant effective immediately.

I informed the training officer that I need to go over to clothing exchange to get the necessary uniform items as technically I was not “out of uniform”. Immediately problems and opposition started…”Oh clothing exchange closes before you can get there, wait until tomorrow.”

I was finally able to get to the clothing exchange the next day and while crossing the street I was almost run over by a vehicle that “appeared” to steer right at me. I jumped up on the sidewalk and managed to get into the store.

Once in the store I told the counter clerk – who also was African American – what I needed and immediately encountered significant “attitude” and resistance. I was finally able to get the needed uniform items and returned to the barracks.

Abba revealed to me that He is supernaturally “promoting” many into positions of higher authority and responsibility – both in the supernatural as well as the natural. Because He is doing it there will be significant opposition from those in established positions of authority as well as those that would normally tend to be “supportive” as they may be envious of your new position.

Abba warned that we are to:
“make sure that you do not receive the promotion but continue to work at the lower level of authority and responsibility as a way to avoid confrontation.” 

He made it clear that He is causing these things to happen for Kingdom reasons and that we are to walk and work in Kingdom level responsibilities and authorities.

Prophetic Word for the Northwest: Johnny Enlow

As I was in Tacoma, Washington the first week of October, the Lord spoke to my spirit. I could perceive the region being pregnant with destiny and there has been a generational build-up that is now ready to be manifested in this age of the restoration of all things. I saw that the Northwest was poised as a pull-tab to open up the nation to a fresh wind of healing. This was not just on the US side of the border but encompasses a large area with the US cities of Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, Portland and the Canadian cities of Vancouver, Abbotsford and Kelowna – and all areas in between – being part of this, where the breath of God will now blow.
   

I believe the archangel Raphael, meaning “God heals,” is the great angel of the mountain of family, and is presently very active over this region with literally millions of newly released angels. This region has historically had seasons of great healing ministries and movements but this next wind is something that will go beyond that. The region will now host and release that which heals people, families, cities and nations. 

Oaks of righteousness will arise from this area and the leaves on their trees will be for the healing of the nations. The spirit of Elijah that turns the hearts of the sons to the fathers and the hearts of the fathers to their sons, will be greatly released from this area. In the spirit realm this northwest region is one giant eagles nest and this will now begin to be revealed more and more. Eagles will gather and eagles will be released. The eagles have been hindered by Jezebel and the Religious Spirit but with the new angelic help will they will now arise and shake off the disorientation, confusion and gloom that has affected them from the demonic realm.
  

The spirit of Elijah restores and brings healing at every level. We can see that healing only bodies from natural illnesses is not a thorough enough level of healing. Bodies continue to get sick as long as family structures remain primarily fractured. New revelation on how to heal families and on how to heal emotional wounds brought on by broken families will come to and from this region. However, it will not only be new healing information but it will really be revelation from heaven that in an instant set’s the captives free. 
   
Family wounds will no longer take years of counseling and digging to find healing- but this spirit of Elijah will carry such a new measure of the Father’s love that it will be as in the days of Jesus – where He could touch the most broken in society and almost overnight have them functioning in destiny.

The spirit of Elijah will show up in a wide range of manners but its purpose in every manifestation will be to bring healing. It will be released by the laying on of hands, through books, through government family structures, through counseling centers and a new music will arise that will carry great healing. ‘Pied Pipers’ of society will arise out of this region carrying a sound that will reach deep into the hearts of the listeners. Some of this music will not be considered ‘Christian’ but will still carry the Father’s healing heart and power.

I saw also great swirls of creativity over the region and a new wave is coming in that will impact all the mountains of society. New ways of doing things will explode all over. New trends will start and go national and many will go global. New music. New fashions. New technologies. New church models. New eateries and coffee houses. New ways of doing business. Something about all this creativity will still be connected to the spirit of Elijah and so it will be that which serves the purpose of connectivedness and community and the societal healing that is brought on via this means.

The recent record rains in the Seattle area are a sign that He will now arise through the “Noahs” and the “arks” that have been in preparatory process for such a time as this. The rising ‘waters’ will not be destruction but it will be that which is designed to raise the level of living. Even as the ark rested on Mt. Ararat (“the curse reversed”) so too, will this all tend towards reversing curses and restoring a higher level of living.

Let the Northwest Gate be fully opened to Heaven!

These Are No Longer Grounded Eagles

THESE ARE NO LONGER GROUNDED EAGLES, as in those who are not encouraged to soar in their gifts. These are the "grounded" eagles who are seasoned and established by the true heart of Father. 

Back in 2007 when everyone was talking about the eagles arriving in the NW, I had a dream and Father took me to Jeremiah 8:7-8, speaking of the misuse of the law and that even the migratory birds knew when to be where they are called. That was the message Father used to move me out first to Washington State. 

I BELIEVE HE IS CALLING THE EAGLES TO LAND. They are gathering as a prophetic picture of their release to the mantels and mandate they carry and must carry out. This is the beginning of their moment. In the past, many of the prophetic were "run off" or tied to the ground. We can no longer compromise the call by settling to hide in a cave (Adullam) for fear that we will lose our lives. 

This is the moment we were created for. To "land" with others where we are called and to deliver by The Spirit what is in us to give. Those on the earth will not always hear what you are yelling from "above" in the secret place. Jesus descended to encounter humanity. He came to where we are. That is the heart of Father. We must land to release. 

THERE SHOULD BE A GREAT CELEBRATION THAT THE PROPHETS ARE RETURNING TO THE LAND. Yes, they are called to soar, but remember there is a time to connect to the land as well. We see the ploys of the enemy from the high places and we must of course, travel and spend time there with The Father. This is where the "seer" gift works so effectively. 

We must also gather together and take the land that is given us. I'm of course, speaking allegorically. Your land may be your bloodline, your business, your sphere of influence (friendship or relationships). 

I had a dream recently, where I was standing in a snowy field and eagles were soaring directly above my head. These were not all mature large eagles. I believe that some still need to be established in their call. Every one of them was flying just above the ground. They were going to "land". 

I reached up and touched one or two on the tip of their wings. This was such a joyous and incredible moment! I knew that we had been waiting for them to come and here they were, coming in for their landing! 

As a prophetic people, let's not forget to get our heads out of the sky and be real, so that we speak practically and wisely into those on the ground

River of Many Colors

I see a river, a river flowing from His throne coming from this place called Spokane. A river of many faces and races. A river of many colors. I see this river flowing into the sea, I see this river filling the Pacific Rim with fire. With fire and glory. A river of many colors flowing into the Pacific Rim with the fires of end time revival.

I see this river merging with many other rivers from other places and nations. A great river of healing and restoration is cutting the through the rocks and valleys of religion to bring rivers in the desolate heights and pools of water in the desert.

I see the words "Psalm 133" written on the rocks of this river. Like a river the oil is pouring from Aaron's beard and like a river shall it flow from Spokane, Washington. The dew of Hermon shall come from this place called Spokane and the Lord will command a blessing. 

I hear the rumbling of a shaking coming to this area as well. I hear the rumblings of a spiritual earthquake. Many seats of authority being upset and principalities usurped from their ancient places. I see the old places; the historical landmarks of church building coming alive again. 

I see a spark igniting in the old places steeped in tradition. I see an alliance between the Pentecostals and the conservative - like the fisherman in Luke 5 harvest will demand a greater level of unity every imagined. They will cry out to the partners in the other boats, "Come help us! We can hold such a great catch!" 

I see a vast network of ministries starting in Spokane, WA. tying the knots of fellowship throughout the Pacific North West and the world. I see a large base of operation of prayer and intercession mobilized in Spokane, a place of strategy and world evangelism.

A mantle of Philip the Evangelist is settling upon the shoulders of Spokane as they invade the Samaria's of the world. 

I see the word Apostolic over Spokane, an apostolic beachhead for the end time Church and like the Apostles of old their cry will be, "That I might become all things to all men that I might save some..." I will give them a heart for the nations of the world. 

They will be city upon a hill that cannot be hid and house of prayer for all nations. A river of many colors is what I call you Spokane. A river of many colors flowing into the uttermost parts of the earth. The nations shall see it and be glad.
