Prophetic Words for 2017

A new gate is opening in the spirit as God is releasing a backlog of revelation and blessings.

Prophetic Words for 2017

2017 is going to be a time in which many of the least likely people begin to awaken to God’s love. A long-awaited start of global awakening and revival will take place. Many of these people have been rejected by the Church, but God is saying, “I have not forgotten them and their cries have reached my ears.”

Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. Psalm 117:1–2 (NIV)

The world is going to awaken to the awesome power of the Lord. There is a reason for all the turmoil and attacks. It is the enemy not wanting us to see what God is about to do. God is more powerful than Satan and some people have fallen into the trap of looking at the storms and believing this is judgment against us. God has a solution in the midst of it all that will unfold in 2017.

Due season is now overdue

The lives and ministries of people were brought into the Courts of Heaven over Rosh Hashanah last October 2016. Last year, the Lord examined our lives with the highest level of the heavenly court system. Daniel 7 Ancient of Days court sessions were held over us all. This is similar to the level of the Supreme Courts on Earth.

Everyone went through an assessment to see if we are ready to advance to the next level with the Lord. Many people were promoted spiritually this year and the Lord is now releasing special plans and assignments for those who have walked through the painful preparation it takes and are crying out for mercy and not judgment.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

I heard the Lord say, “This is your due season and it is overdue for many.” Do not give up as this is a season to reap. It is not far off. Things are going to begin lining up for you over the next few months. The Lord has not forgotten you! For many, the very reason you came to Earth is about to be revealed in 2017.

Do not give up as this is a season to reap. #prophetinsight

Wind of Change coming

Expect to see backlogs of blessings and unanswered prayer come to you over the next 3 months. Between now and March things will start to line up with greater clarity. What currently looks like losses will suddenly turn around for many people. Though it seems that darkness is winning, after March this is going to take a quick turn for the good.

I have observed that the Wind of Change angel from Heaven shows up March through May each year. Expect the Wind of Change to blow heavy this year. It will help remove debris from our lives and uncover new hidden treasures.

I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. Isaiah 45:3 NIV

Angel is ready to dance

God spoke to me that many forgotten prophetic words from the past are coming to us in 2017.

I had a spiritual experience at Rosh Hashanah on September 28, 2011 in which I saw an angel that was in position and about to dance. In the vision the place where I saw the angel standing looked like a combination of San Francisco, Las Vegas and Hollywood.

The Lord said that when this angel dances it will shake things open and release finances, favor and an anointing to bring people into God’s Kingdom. In the experience, many of us had been waiting a long time for this angel to dance. Then without warning, it danced and the ground shook and golden coins filled the streets.

This is the release of Kingdom finances that will be needed to impact the world for God. It is also a shaking coming in the way we do things. Watch for this angel to dance over your city!

Two moves of God coming

There are going to be 2 moves of God.

1. The first is going to be inside the Church and in the lives of Christians—it is designed to awaken and prepare us.

2. The second is a wave of revival that will be geared to those who have been rejected by Christians or have been considered unclean or even an abomination. What is coming might seem to be a stretch to many people, as some of our current ways of doing things will not work to reach those who have been rejected. I have been prophesying this for a number of years now and I call this group the spiritual outcasts. They are the ones that did not fit into churches or had a bad experience and went away, never to return.

Billion Soul Revival

This year will be the start of the Billion Soul Revival—though it will not look like it on the surface. Do not despise humble beginnings. The late prophet Bob Jones prophesied this revival would happen. Sadly, Bob died in 2014 without seeing the fulfillment of it.

On September 22, 2016 I heard a counsel meeting in the Courts of Heaven. It was about Bob Jones’ life and ministry and his prophecy of the Billion Soul Revival. Many people have forgotten about it, but God has not forgotten this prophetic promise and plans are being made now to fulfill it on Earth.

During the counsel meeting, the tasks of fulfilling the revival were split into thousands of assignments. No one man or woman could carry this mantle alone. Bob carried the strategies; but now the actual fulfillment plans are being released to us.

God has not forgotten this prophetic promise and plans arebeing made now to fulfill it on Earth.

A new Jesus People movement coming

The Jesus People movement of the late 60s–early 70s was the last known revival in North America. This was a theologically messy movement as many hippies turned on to Jesus and became Jesus Freaks.

The Jesus People movement started in San Francisco and was taken to Southern California and then to the world. This movement had a strong belief in miracles, signs and wonders, faith, healing, prayer, the Bible and powerful works of the Holy Spirit. It changed the face of Christianity and broke the religious spirit of that day. Sadly, it was rejected by the majority of the Church.

There is a new Jesus People movement that is going to start in San Francisco again. It will not start with the hippies as it did then, but it will be among the sexually broken and the Fatherless generation crying out for God’s love. 2017 will mark the start of something new in San Francisco that will go to Southern California and then to the world.

A Golden Gate opened

The Lord spoke to me to go to San Francisco on New Year’s Eve 2016 and open a gate in the spirit that will release the strategies for the next coming revival. I tried that night, but it would not open until the next day when I repented on behalf of all the people who have cursed and judged San Francisco.

As I removed these curses, the gate opened over the city of the Golden Gate. This is a key to opening revival and blessings over your house, church, business, city and nation.

The Glory of God is returning in 2017

During the Jesus People movement in the early 1970s there was a strong presence of God’s Glory. It was like a liquid anointing or tangible atmosphere that could be felt by many people. Without God’s greater glory and power, we will not be able to be part of a revival and movement as big as what God has in store for us.

In 1975, the Lord spoke to Bob Jones that the greater Glory of God was going to leave the Church because it was used for man’s gain instead of for revival and the Lord’s work. On March 17, 1977 Bob saw this glory lift from the Church and it has not returned since. Yes, there are people who still carry portions of it, but overall, the glory of God has not been on the Church at large since that time.

March 17, 2017 is the 40th anniversary of the Glory departing. This is the year that the Glory of God is going to return to the Church. Like the glory of the 1970s it will not be limited to the four walls of a Church. Similar to the Jesus People movement, the Glory of God is coming with signs and wonders, healing and miracles and will begin to touch those outside the church and into the streets.

In closing, I am not saying all of these things about the big revival will take place in 2017. But God is planning and positioning us for them.

This will indeed be a year that started out looking evil and dark but will end with greater hope and more of the light of the Lord being released.

Get your hopes up as God has not forgotten you!

Blessings,

Doug Addison

I Can See Clearly Now: Doug Addison on 2014

Expect things to clear up

If things don't seem all that clear right now, don't worry. February’s uncertain times will become clearer towards the end of the month. Clarity is coming and some new radical positive events will start happening in March. Expect to see the clouds lift by the end of the month while God pours out encouragement in March through April.

Attacks of 2013 become authority
What were your struggles and how did the enemy attack you in 2013? Your attack in 2013 is the area of your new authority this year. In many cases, the enemy overplayed his hand against you and 2013 was about trying to get you to quit.

For those who stuck with it, God is giving new levels of authority and anointing. But there is a key to this new promotion this year: we must get rid of accusations against others. God is releasing new anointing and authority to those who are humble and able to love others.

A key verse for this time is Matthew 7:12 “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

God spoke to me that if you have anything against someone else, it is time to put it behind you. Especially if you are holding evidence saved to prove you are right. Let it go. It's time to trust God to fight your battles and let go of any grievances because they will disqualify you from promotions this year.

New ideas and inventions
I had a prophetic dream this month that God is releasing from Heaven new strategies, ideas and inventions right now. I was standing next to an angel and suddenly a high-tech umbrella appeared in my hand that not only shielded me from the elements but also had a mist of refreshment falling down on the inside. The dream means that God’s angels will shield us while bringing a creative, inventive spirit. When we are protected by God, new divine strategies and inventions create Kingdom finances even through tough times.

I also had several dreams of violent weather. God is saying do not worry about how things look but trust that God will open up opportunities to be blessed in any situation.

God gave Isaac a strategy to reap a hundred times during a terrible famine.

“Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.” Genesis 26:12

In every downturn there's always a way to reap. Ask God for eyes to see what you can do right now in your situation.

Super Bowl score
Even though the Super Bowl was not that super this year, unless you are a Seattle Seahawks fan, the final score was intriguing to me. I felt it was significant and knew that again, like last year, it was not intended to say that God is judging.

Taking a look at the final score, Seahawks 43 to Broncos 8, God led me to some powerful verses packed in Isaiah 43 which many of us know. Here God brings comfort during rough times, forming us into people of godly character, able to lead others by following Holy Spirit into new things (Isaiah 43: 1-2, 5-8 and 18-19).

Check out the verse corresponding the final score, 43-8 to Isaiah 43:8.

“Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.” Isaiah 43:8 NIV

God is opening people’s eyes and ears. People who have no idea about the power of His Spirit will be lead by those called by God’s name. Like the power of God’s spirit, who helped deaf Seahawks fullback, Derrick Coleman, who “stuck with it” and despite his disability, gained much new authority.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19

God’s challenge in the game of life is to take comfort during character-forming times. Your heart’s re-shaping helps you and others show God’s awesome goodness. Read through the entire chapter of Isaiah 43 because it is packed full of promises from God to pray into your life.

New type of religious spirit
I was featured in Darren Wilson’s documentary, Father of Lights. In the film, we were doing outreach on Venice Beach but a group of highly religious, judgmental sign carriers, a.k.a. Bible Thumpers, were shutting down the spiritual atmosphere.

I prayed and blessed the guy with one of the angry signs. When we think of religious spirits, usually we think of this group. But God showed me there is a new type of religious spirit that is being released in the Church today.

This new type of religious spirit is now active in charismatic and evangelical Christians. Many people that are operating in this new covert legalistic spirit believe they are truly nonreligious. In reality, they are falling into judgment.

When God does something new, quite often the previous movement is judgmental towards it. This is repeated throughout church history. God is doing something new right now to draw in people who have been rejected by Christianity. I have been encouraging people everywhere to embrace anyone who needs God and not judge them.

Before we can help others, we must ask God to look at our own hearts and see if there is any judgment against others.

I've been praying a prayer for a while, “God, show me what the enemy does not want me to see about myself.” And also, “God, reveal to me anything I might have in my heart towards others.” As we get rid of judgment, we are better able to embrace people who are different than us.

Let’s pray together that God would help us be more persistent so we can “stay in it.” And we would have judgment-free eyes to see clearly and find new ways to hear how to use our new authority to touch many.

Blessings,

Doug Addison

June 8-12 is a Strategic Time

Last December God spoke to me that 2011 will be strategic, and we will begin moving into more clarity about our destinies as God is shifting our assignments. New life will come in June and by September 2011 things we have longed for will begin to take shape.

We are heading into a strategic time as God is sending out invitations to go deeper and experience more of Him. This will require that we streamline our lives and be flexible. What we do this year will set the pace for the next several years.

The enemy has been attacking us in the area of "spiritual identity theft." Many have gotten off-track from their specific uniqueness' as individuals, ministries, churches, and businesses. We will need to go beyond the things that we are good at doing and focus on what we do the best. We are being released from our old assignments from God and we need to take steps towards our new assignments.

June 8-12 is a Strategic Time

This year Passover to Pentecost takes place from April 25-June 8. It is an amazing time of Heavenly interaction and activity. The Jewish Feast of Pentecost ends June 8 and the Christian celebration is June 12. God spoke to me about significant "positive" events that will take place during this time. Watch for new things to begin happening June 8-12.

What will happen during the dates June 8-12 is similar to Isaiah 6:8-10:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" He said, "Go and tell this people: "‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."

New Assignments Now Available

This is where Isaiah encountered God and received his new assignment. It was also a time in which some people thought they were hearing God but they were not hearing clearly or understanding Him. God is opening the spiritual ears and eyes of those who are looking to Him for their destiny.

God is asking many people to go on assignments that He would not normally have to ask them to accept. There has been an excessive amount of people who have fallen into complacency and therefore their callings and destinies are available to people who will say yes. New assignments along with the anointing and financial provision needed for those assignments are now available to people who will say yes to God.

ATM Cards from Heaven

I saw "spiritual ATM cards" being issued to people for "Angelic Teller Machines". God is assigning angels that will make finances and favor available from June 8 through September 30 (Pentecost – Rosh Hashanah). This is a specific time that people are going to reap what they have previously sown. In other words, we are in a time right now that we are receiving from God because of things that we have done and given to over the past nine years (2001-2011).

The amount of grace and blessing being received right now will not seem to make sense to some because it is coming as back-payment for previous losses.

Plan Now for the Future Assignments

Don't assume the amount of blessing you are receiving from June to September will continue at the same high velocity. So don't just think you can camp in the flow of blessing, you will still need to be wise and position yourself to get the new promotions coming after September. Begin planning now by watching for new opportunities.

New Grace Over Hollywood

I also heard a prophetic word that God has extended seven years of new grace and mercy over Hollywood and the entertainment industry as new media projects will arise. We will begin to see a rise of positive movies and music but simultaneously the enemy will try to combat this with an increase in demonic and witchcraft themes that will try to stop what God is doing.

Floodgates Opening

I keep having dreams that the floodgates of water have been opened and that the level of the supernatural is rising. I keep seeing reservoirs that are almost full and beginning to spill over. We are seeing news of areas in the U.S. where floodgates are being opened because of the large amount of rain and snow-melt. This is symbolic of the new levels of blessing, strategies and assignments that are being released from Heaven and the paradigm for new types of ministries, businesses and media projects that are beginning to unfold.

It is time to be willing to take risks and move forward with more confidence in the things that God is directing you to do. "Here I am Lord, send me!"

Evangelism Angels Come From Africa to California"

I went to Cape Town, South Africa, on March 21, 2009 to speak at a prophetic conference with Barbara Claassen of Prophetic Breakthrough Ministries. As I landed, God began to speak to me about a radical change about to take place that would set into motion a chain reaction that would positively impact the entire earth for the Kingdom of God. Immediately I began having dreams of angels visiting me. At the conference, I noticed the increase of angelic activity, and the presence and power of God was extremely strong. We saw miracles take place and people healed and set free—in some cases, instantly.

Power Evangelism Angel
Just before an evening session I received what I can only describe as a supernatural infusion of Kingdom Financial Strategies. As I delivered the message, the presence of a very large angel came with an anointing for businessmen and women to create finances for the Kingdom. Some refer to this as the "Joseph Anointing," which is demonstrated in Genesis 41, as Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dreams and gives him prophetic direction on how to prosper during an economic downturn. In many cases there were immediate responses as strategies for business and finances came in. My own ministry received an answer to prayer that night for a financial need.

The next session the angel was back, and this time nearly the entire conference was set free and healed of broken hearts and issues with wounds from authority. The session after that, the angel was present and nearly everyone there experienced a manifestation of the Holy Spirit in their body with jolts of electricity, tingling, and warmth. Dozens were physically healed that night and there were reports back the next day of supernatural turnarounds, including someone about to commit suicide who was ministered to and saved.

I had not seen this type of power for a while and I had never seen an angel like this. Whatever was needed for the people, the angel would release an anointing for an immediate response. I telephoned a friend of mine in the U.S., a prophet named Bob Jones, to ask if he was aware of an angel like this. Bob told me the angel was "Power Evangelism" and it was being assigned to me to come back to the U.S. to bring about a revival.

The Gathering Angels
That night I had a spiritual experience. I don't know if I dreamed it, was really there, or it was a vision. In this experience, I was driving down U.S. Highway 101 in California. I noticed on the side of the road that there were dozens of Cal-Trans workers (California Department of Transportation). I looked closer and I saw their faces turn into ancient African faces with eyes of blazing fire. They were busy scooping up handfuls of white balls of light from the grass. They were able to find these lights that had been overlooked and discarded by others. Then the fear of God came over me as I realized these were the angels that have been sent by God to gather in a great revival (see Luke 10:2 and Matthew 24:31). I knew that this group of angels had come from Africa to the U.S. to bring about revival.

The Power Evangelism Angel and the Gathering Angels are now in California preparing for a great move of God that will sweep the entire earth. Their focus will be on the outcasts and people that are called by God but overlooked by men. Though this particular move from God is starting in California, it will not be limited to California but will sweep the globe. Many different types of visitations and outpourings from God are happening right now all over the earth. This is just one of them.

The White Feather
Many of the prophets at the conference in South Africa were telling me that an angel has been assigned to go back with me to the U.S. for revival. Since this is so serious, I asked God for a confirmation. At the next meeting a "white feather" literally appeared in mid-air and floated down to the palm of my hand in plain view of everyone. As this happened the power of God hit the place quite strongly. I slid out of my seat and was on the floor in an Acts 10:10 trance type of experience. I saw the angel holding my hand and I began to receive a deep level of revelation that has not stopped since.

Sir Isaac Newton's Third Law of Motion and Revival
As I was leaving South Africa, I received a prophetic word from God that what is happening will be similar to Newton's Third Law of Motion: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." The action of the angel from South Africa being given to the United States will create a reaction in South Africa of an equal proportion and there will be a reaction in the Spirit.

There will be a revival in South Africa as well as in other parts of the world. When I got home from my trip, I had an encounter in which I was taken in the Spirit to South Africa and shown a division that God is healing. There are divine strategies being released from Heaven to help remove obstacles to unity in South Africa and around the world. Unity among Christians will be a key to sustaining any revival or move of God.

How to Respond
I was really reluctant to release this article. I am not saying this will have the same level of impact as previous moves of God or that my ministry has an exclusive right to what is happening. I do feel that I must tell people about what I experienced and begin to impart this as much as possible. In the past I have actually downplayed many of my supernatural encounters because I don't like sensationalism, but this one is significant. As I got home and began to do research on the internet, I saw several other ministries release articles on angelic encounters they had over the past few days. I have been saying for years that we are sitting on one of the biggest revivals in Church history.

What I noticed is this: As these angels and the anointing they bring are released, they take what we already have to a new level. So I encourage you to begin to ask God for more of what He has called you to do. Begin to step out and use your gifts right now. Ask God to give you opportunities to share His love. Watch, as you will begin to see more supernatural signs and manifestations of the Holy Spirit as this is released.

"He (Jesus) told them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.'"—Luke 10:2
