Battle Preparations: Relax, He's Got This.

Last night I had several things on my mind as I got into bed. I listened to an audiobook for a while, trying to quiet my mind – worry isn’t great when you are trying to go to sleep. Not at all!

I had a dream that we were going into a battle or some type of war and all our soldiers were infants or toddlers – not battle-worthy in the least. This “war” wasn’t necessarily about bombs and guns but it was something coming up that would need to be fought for – and I was worried we would not be ready. I fretted about how this army could even begin to help the situation. I woke up then went back to sleep.

I’m not sure if I actually woke up or if that was part of the dream but some time had passed, like maybe a year. I took another look at our “army” and they were totally matured and ready to fight. They were all even in matching uniforms…black if I recall correctly.

I was astounded! How did that happen? My worries and fretting completely disappeared, to be replaced by encouragement and actually enlightenment. I suddenly know that we would win and my worries had been groundless. I was sure there would be no problem, it would be handled and would be successful.

I needed to trust and not have to figure everything out, it would be okay and everything would work out. There was a plan.

I (really) woke up and knew that this was, at least in part about some things I had been worrying about before going to sleep. I also think this dream was a reminder for some other things people might be concerned or worrying about. God has a plan! I “heard” the Digital Warriors will be ready -they look young and too immature but they WILL be ready when they are needed.

He knows the end from the beginning. He is outside of time as we know it and is moving the chess pieces around to where and when they need to be, whether we know it or not.

Breathe, He’s got this! And He’s got you.

Overcoming Obstacles, a Matter of Perspective

Many of you are facing what appear to be insurmountable obstacles – like giant walls of boulders, or in other places like solid brick walls. 

You can see the detail of each rock or brick, you can see the texture and can almost feel them from where you are standing.

You know this is the way you are supposed to go…but you can’t SEE how to overcome the obstacles in front of you.

The Lord showed me that these “obstacles” these “walls” are nothing more than really nice pieces of art work on RICE PAPER. 

They look real in every aspect, but He said “I’ve got this, see in the spirit instead of the natural and SEE that these obstacles are nothing more that attractive distractions – JUST WALK ON THROUGH as I have already prepared the path before you!”

So – look at your obstacles with your spiritual eyes and allow the wisdom of the Lord to show you that HE’S GOT THIS.

“FOCUS” – a word for 2015

Over the years Abba has taken to giving me “a” word for the upcoming year. In the beginning they were paragraphs and now they've come to be a single word and over the time Holy Spirit provides dreams and visions to support the word.

For 2013 the word was “TRUST” and I must say that if I knew everything that was going to happen in 2013 and into 2014 (Abba gave me a two year for one word deal) I might have asked for a new word.

But HE knows what we need before we ask so I've learned over the decades to simply TRUST (there’s that word again).

For 2015 He gave me the word FOCUS

As I meditated on the word the first part of the lesson Holy Spirit gave me was a flash back to the first “Karate Kid” movie.

The scene is just before Danielson’s final opponent - Daniel has been beat to heck, he’s hurting, he can barely stand, and HE IS AFRAID.

Mr. Miyagi, in his typical fashion – sternly looks and speaks

“Focus Danielson, Focus…the battle is not there (pointing to mat)…it is in here (taps Daniel on his head)…focus…”

Daniel had the skill, the training, the knowledge but he had lost his focus on his sensei.

Daniel struggles back to the mat, assumes a crane stance to the wonderment of his opponent and then as the opponent proceeds to attack him he leaps into the air and delivers a snap kick to his opponent’s head and wins the match.

Many of us have been through many matches and battles in prior years – just like Danielson – and we are approaching the point of the final battle in this tournament and we’re tired, hurting, and can barely stand. And fear has found its way back into our mindsets after being absent for many years.

Yet we have a battle that can and must be won – we must FOCUS on our sensei – Jesus our Rabbi and teacher – and we need to stand up and firm no matter what is going on around us and FOCUS on everything He has taught us and like Danielson in the final match – we may be called upon to take a stance that is different than what we have used before, that is different than what our opponents are expecting, but what He has been training us for all along.

So for 2015 – FOCUS on Jesus - knowing that the battle has been won and we are to fear not.

Everything You Know Is About To Change

These are the Prophecies given to Messianic Rabbi Robert W. Benbow of Congregation T’Shuvat Yisrael in the Congregation at Tacoma Washington in the years of 2008 and 2009. I believe that there is more to come from the Lord about this matter.

Prophecy - February, 2008

This is the prophecy that was given to our congregation over four weeks in February.

“I want to give you my Fire”

“Just Believe”

“Have Faith”

“Stand Firm”

“Because Everything you know is about to Change”

Prophecy - February 7, 2009

Remember last year the Lord said that "Everything that you know is about to change," and you've probably been wondering in light of the change: "What is God going to do?"

Well, He's going to tell you.

First of all, He created this nation, not man. He made it a refuge for believers from the world of the Beast. He also put His Name on this nation, not man. And He will defend that Name. The nation, like the children of Israel, it desired to have a king over them. They know not what they ask for, or what it will bring them. But I let him rise up, so that I may abase him, that I may show this nation that this is My nation.

All that they do, I will give them a spirit of confusion. They shall run and not accomplish. It is to show that no one is Messiah but ME, and when men begin to proclaim men "messiahs;" My anger is forthcoming.

This nation, I have made it a place that it may do great things. It has done great things. It has fed the world. It defends peace. It is a place where the Word of God can be proclaimed without impedance.

But this next year, I shall show the people of this nation who these people really are. I have allowed this group of ungodly men to take power so that I can take power from them. To show these people who they really are; these ungodly, unrighteous, wicked, perverse, would-be men who would lead people astray. Like Nimrod, who wanted to build a tower to overthrow Me, they want to overthrow what I have established. And they will not!

This next year, I will glorify Myself. I will show Myself in this nation to this people, and I will humble them.

Be not afraid, and watch. I Am the God that takes care of My children. The waters may be troubled and rough, but I will establish that which I have birthed. It shall not be a fallen nation, but it will be a nation that will go into the Kingdom.

"I AM coming against them", saith the LORD. I will make them run, and they shall run and flee. The Body of Messiah will begin to rise up with power and demonstration. It is not the many, but it is the few who will do a great and a mighty work. Watch and see how I shall show Myself, for this nation I have proclaimed, "In God they will trust." And in God they will trust, for I shall take down their idols, their high places. And the Word shall go forth and shall deliver this nation, but it will be through the power of My Ruach, and the people that I love.

This nation was established for the children, not for brute beasts. "I shall take them down," saith the LORD. “I shall show Myself in a great way.” Great trouble is coming upon the face of the earth.

Do not forget this, for there is only One Kingdom of God, and one people of that Kingdom and

I AM the God that gives refuge to My people.

I AMthe God who empowers them.

I Am the God that will show great and mighty things unto an ungodly people that I wish to deliver.

They have bought into a lie, and now they shall see the lie they bought into.

They have bought into falsehood, into pride and arrogance and greed. And now it

shall flee from them because they will not get what they desire. They will only get the power of God in the midst of them.

I will pour out My Spirit upon this nation, not only in love and mercy, but in judgment, for they have sinned greatly before Me.

My eyes are upon the children who cry out from the Molech worship.

My eyes are upon the children that call unto Me, that seek My face.

I have not forgotten you,

I AM with you.

Do not turn away.

Do not let the troubles of the time bother you, because they tell you that I Am coming soon.

That's what He gave me, this year. And we already know that in the first 15 days of their self-proclaimed "messiah," he is in confusion. And no matter what he does, it will not work. For there is only one thing that works, and that is Almighty God! And they will either run from His face, or they will fall on their face. God will have His way. Amen
