Discerning the Global Reset

Since the beginning of time, false representations of reality have been offered as counterfeits to God’s truth. There are two definitions of a global reset being offered at this time. One reset is empowered by God, and the other is empowered by darkness. Masking language is being used to draw believers who lack discernment toward the counterfeit, defending its proposals as evidence of their tolerance.

The Gospel is always inviting but never tolerant of things that will ultimately harm us. Not agreeing with the ideology of a dark reset that will ultimately destroy individual lives and societies does not make one intolerant. It is an expression of love.

A few years ago, I began to write and speak about a reset that would take place in the Church. It would be a reset that starts us on a refocusing journey where we would begin to see the Church and its mission with new eyes. Instead of getting more complicated, our expression of faith would enter a simpler expression, void of complicated religious baggage, language, and unhealthy alliances.

At the end of the resetting and refocusing, we would enter a resting place, where we would receive fresh revelation about how we can move forward into the future. This revelation would only be available to those willing to reset, refocus, and rest.

Whenever you hear the word “reset,” make sure you discern the spirit using the word. The reset Jesus offers leads to freedom, freedom of our will. This is the kind of freedom only found in the Spirit. The counterfeit reset will lead to control and demands of conformity to agendas that have at their core a spirit of death. Any refusal to follow the dictates of that dark reset will carry the shaming label of intolerance.

As a defining clarity is taking place regarding the two resets, a definition within the Church is also taking place regarding cultural reformation. On one side are those who view reformation as a way to control people and culture, much like the false reset. They see the assignment of the Church as creating a theocracy on earth and directing culture by demands of conformity to a particular expression of faith.

On the other side are those who believe the Church’s work is best expressed in culture as an opportunity to help a culture flourish under the influence of believers embedded within its institutions. These embedded ones seek the highest good for each individual while never backing away from speaking the truth in love. The latter expression of reformation is where the power of God’s Spirit is delivered.

This kind of Heaven-empowered reformation is so powerful that it cannot be controlled by religious or political spirits. It will endure through the tumultuous and challenging seasons of upheaval each society will experience as it matures.

That is the kind of reformation where the reset of Heaven is taking place. The by-product of the reset will draw people to the love of God and ultimately transform the heart of a nation.

The Seven Shifts Coming to the Church

Jonathan Welton is a gifted seer and a brilliant theologian. Not long ago, he was speaking at Seattle Revival Center church, here in the Northwest, and God interrupted his schedule to describe seven shifts that He is bringing to the church, with seven activations for the people of God.

This is a two-hour-long video, but it's worth the time to hear what he has to say. These are not insignificant changes, and you're probably experiencing some of them already.

Dr Welton offers a Supernatural Bible School online. If you're looking for a theological foundation for our charismatic, prophetic experience, I highly recommend it. (I'm enrolled, myself.)

Shifting to Kingdom Authority

By Ron McGatlin
(Note from Ron: If some of this important writing is new to you or does not seem to fit in your box, please be patient and do not throw it away quickly. Please read to the end before tossing it. If you cannot receive it now, please put it on the shelf in your heart and allow time for the Holy Spirit to confirm or deny it. – Thank you, Ron)
Perhaps the most significant shift since Pentecost is now taking place in the Body of Christ. It is possibly the most significant move of God in the last 2000 years. The order of church as we have known it is changing.
One of the comments heard often coming from prophets that are seeing the shift is that they do not know exactly what it looks like. Yet all would probably agree that there is a significant shaking of all that can be shaken on earth.
How severe will the shaking be?
What will happen to me and my family during this time of shaking?
What will the governments of nations look like?
How perilous will it really be?

Probably no one has clear answers to these serious questions.
With the light of spiritual revelation and God’s wisdom that is available to those who love God above all else, we can know some specific answers to some other even more important questions such as:
Where is all this going?
Why is the church worldwide being targeted with vicious persecution?
Why is God allowing these things to happen?
Even many who are aware of the major shift taking place may not yet be sure about where this is all going.
The Quiet Beginning of This Shift
In the 1980s, a major millennial shift quietly began among a scattering of unknown men across the world. Later I miraculously found out about some of these men of God that experienced the same revelation that I received in the same time frame. They were low profile and had no connection or contact with one another. These men were mature chronologically and spiritually. Most had gone through all the recent moves and restorations of God in the church up to that day. God opened the eyes of these men and lifted the cover from the powerful gospel of the kingdom that had been covered for two thousand years. The gospel of the kingdom has now been quietly spreading like yeast in dough, mostly unseen, and from person to person through organic networking.
From the quiet reseeding of the gospel of the kingdom that began in the 1980s, it continued to spread as the powerful revivals and spiritual outpourings of the 90s prepared the people to receive more from God. In the 2000s the sprouted seeds grew and many men and women of God began to proclaim and demonstrate the portions of the gospel of the kingdom that they had received. The same powerful message that Jesus and His disciples first planted over two thousand years ago is now being widely proclaimed across the world. Generations of people are being prepared to experience the fullness of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Much of the existing church that is structured from the past is not yet aware of what God is doing.
The enemy is aware of what is happening and is furiously trying to destroy all the babies and children of these generations in an effort to stop the move of God. Every person who is part of the kingdom of God reality that is coming forth to these generations are becoming targets for annihilation, if the enemy can find an opening to get to them. The enemy is killing as many babies and perverting as many children as possible in an attempt to stop the kingdom generation of people. All of the persecution designed to kill, steal, and destroy anything of Jesus on the earth will only serve to purify the true kingdom age church of God. Priorities will drastically shift to the true values of God. The King and His kingdom will be the number one focus of life among the generations of pure-hearted holy people of power in the kingdom age church of Christ Jesus.
The church systems that in the past ruled with authority over people are finishing their season as the new kingdom of God reality comes forward. The authority of the past church systems is rapidly fading from effectiveness in the Body and in the world. The great shift of our time has to do in part with church system’s governments and functions being changed into the glorious church “ekklesia” of the kingdom of God age. The kingdom “ekklesia” (the gathering of called out ones) is becoming the “basileia” (kingdom) of heaven on earth.
The Church System Authority and the Kingdom of God Authority
To understand the difference in the two let’s begin with a brief look at the roots and development of the religious church system authority. The church system’s structure was never God’s perfect design for the people of God after the time of Christ Jesus. The first century church that the disciples of the Lord knew was nothing like the church systems that began developing shortly after Paul and the other disciples left.
Around the third century the church became infiltrated with pagan practices and ruled over by politically inspired hierarchical systems of men. The leadership of Christ in the Holy Spirit that had ruled in the first centuries left the corrupt church. Man reinstated the Priest system and produced many religious laws or rules for the people. The divine authority that was in the early disciples was gone and man developed church system authority and called it “God Ordained.”
The politically oriented corrupt leadership of the church that was void of the Holy Spirit began to reach back to the other side of the cross and brought forward a lot of what God had ordained for the Old Testament time before the coming of Christ Jesus.
In the Old Testament day the Priest were established to serve as a mediator between God and man. There was a distinct separation between the priesthood and the rest of the people. The Priests did all of the God stuff, and the people only brought the proper sacrifice for the Priests to offer. Specific rules and rituals were carried out religiously with the people. There was a distinct group of men set aside to rule in the places of worship. Only the set apart Priests were to do the stuff. All of this looked forward to the coming of Christ, and all of it was to be done away with after the cross. The church of Jesus Christ was to be the kingdom of God come to earth fulfilling and ending the Old Testament religious types and shadows.
The church systems to this day have continued to replicate this out-of-order authority structure with many minor variances. Today in church systems, local churches, and ministries the same structure of men ruling over men through a system of “clergy” over “laity” continues to be the backbone of most church governments and functions. This may have many names and forms but is deadly to the functionality of the New Testament kingdom of God reality. The name may change from denominations to apostolic networks or associations or whatever. However, if in fact it is a hierarchy or pyramid of men ruling over the people of God, it is working in the old clergy over laity error that has been prevalent since around the third century.
(Please don’t go yet. Let’s look briefly at the reality of the kingdom church government and function.)
In a natural earthly kingdom, the king is sovereign. The king has complete authority over everything and everyone in the kingdom. Since the king cannot possibly be everywhere to see over and manage all things, he appoints people to manage specific portions of his domain, according to his desires and instructions. Each subject reports to the king, either directly or through an appointed overseer who manages a specific area and answers to the king for the subjects under his oversight. The king delegates his authority to an overseer person because the king cannot be present with all of his subjects individually. A natural or earthly kingdom is like the Old Testament rule of the people. It required delegated authority to function.
In the kingdom of God as in any kingdom all authority over all that is within the kingdom rest in the one KING.
The kingdom (government) of God is very different in some ways from an earthly kingdom. The kingdom of God on earth is the kingdom of heaven ruling on earth. It will always operate from the same reality that it does in heaven. The spiritual from heaven created the natural and has complete authority over it.
Here are the BIG differences -
First the kingdom of God from heaven on earth is a spiritual kingdom.
God is SPIRIT! God’s Son was with God in the beginning and was part of creating all that is created. The Son of God with God was SPIRIT before coming to earth to take on a human body in order to redeem, restore, and reclaim all that was lost in the first Adam.
All authority in heaven and on earth is given to Christ Jesus the King. Jesus is the only HEAD of the church and the only KING of the kingdom.
All power, all love, and all wisdom is given to Christ Jesus, the SPIRIT KING of earth and of all creation. Father God and the Son are ONE (John 17:21-22).
King Jesus knows what is best to do in every situation and has the power to do it and the love to make it be the best it can be for all His people on earth.
We are the subjects of His kingdom on earth. We are spirit beings with a soul and body. As spirit beings in a human body we have the potential to be one Spirit with Christ Jesus and carry out His will by His power here in this natural earth.
Unlike the natural king who had to delegate his authority to someone to oversee for him, King Jesus and the Father, in the Holy Spirit, can become one Spirit with us and abide in us to bring forth His own authority. There is no need for men with delegated authority to try to rule the church and subsequently the world. SPIRIT GOD will rule His kingdom in and through His Body and Bride on earth. This is the reality of Christ in you the hope of glory (Col 1:27).
Christ Jesus is still seated at the throne of God, and we are seated with Him there in the Spirit. Jesus was crucified, resurrected, and ascended to the Father. As a “life giving Spirit.” (1 Cor 15:45) Jesus returned to His disciples at Pentecost, just as he said He would, to abide in them by the Holy Spirit to do the greater works in His Body on earth (John 14:12) (John 14 15-20) (John 17 20-23).
While in His incarnate body on earth, Jesus was a man in one place at one time. As Spirit God, He can be anywhere and everywhere all at once. He is both at the throne and on earth indwelling His people.
This is not saying that there is no future bodily return. This is saying that He came as Spirit to establish His kingdom now in us and subsequently into the world. We literally can rule and reign as kings and priests with Him now on earth as we no longer live but the life we now live is His life in us (Rev 1:6) (Gal 2:20).
This is also not saying that there is no place for leadership and leaders in the Body through whom Christ functions. It does mean that we must come to understand the difference in Headship and leadership. More on true kingdom church leadership next time.
Kingdom authority is the authority of Christ Jesus in the Holy Spirit living in His people ruling and reigning on earth as kings and priests.
Yes, as you imagine there is much more to this wonderful kingdom reality for each of us to experience in this life now and in the life to come. The Kingdom Growth Guides are a very good source of moving from religion into intimate relationship in the emerging kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Keep on pursuing love. It never fails
and His kingdom never ends.

The Rock Has Rolled

by John L. Moore
John is a resident of Montana, close to, but not technically part of, the Pacific Northwest. That's not why this word is included in the NWP Record.

Several prophetic people have drawn my attention to this word, and declared what my own spirit was saying: This is a word for the Northwest. --Editor

John L. MooreThe Rock
On 7-7-11 I said, "The rock has rolled."
The Rock
The rock before the storm
Recently a freak thunderstorm crossed the north side of our ranch before bringing much destruction to a farming community east of us on the Yellowstone River.
The photo above is a partial look at a landmark on our ranch, a massive rock with horizontal lines (perhaps caused by ocean tides when eastern Montana was on the bottom of an ocean?) and stretching over 100 feet and rising up to 15 feet above the ground.
Little about this rock has changed through the years.
The Rock
The rock after the storm
After the storm Wally Badgett and I trailed some yearlings past Krumm Spring and I could not believe my eyes. The angry storm had dislodged a horizontal portion of the rock wall and left it standing vertically without rolling it down the hill. This rock is standing on a narrow ledge with its lines now pointing up.
While I was watching the live streaming of the Open Door Conference at Chuck Pierce's church on a recent Friday night, the Lord gave me understanding about this rock.
The total rock represents the Church. For a long time all of the Church's "lines" have been horizontal. The Church has been concerned about fellowship, church growth, activities, social programs, etc...
But a storm broke off a "remnant" without destroying it. Instead, the remnant is now pointing up to the heavens. See how this rock even resembles a hand.
This is a sign for our times. A remnant within the Church will break away from horizontal works and point upward to Christ.
Blessings,
John L. Moore

Postscript on the Rock:
  • Krumm Spring is a very important water source on the ranch. During our many drought years it was the only spring not to go dry, though it slowed to just a trickle before this year.
  • Krumm Spring is two miles south and on the same divide as the Rock Circles where we have done so much land cleansing and warfare. At Krumm Spring is the greenest cedar tree you will ever see (photo available upon request) and above it is a lookout point with teepee rings.
  • Krumm Spring was actually named for two single women who homesteaded there about 100 years ago.
  • The rock that was dislodged probably weighs one ton and sets on a ledge that is only a couple feet wide. The storm was coming from the northwest to the southeast and the rock should have been thrown off that ledge to topple downhill.
John L. Moore is a cattle rancher, novelist, journalist and prophetic voice from Montana. He is probably best known to Elijah List readers as the friend and mentor of Ching Co Ten. (Only the Lord could put a Montana cowboy and a Chinese prophetess living in the Philippines together.)

Viewing the Shift

By Ron McGatlin

The goal of the ministry of the church.

The primary goal is not a bigger group, more activities or better services, it is not even benevolent acts, nor greater prosperity, and not even more and better evangelism, neither is it healing or emotional healing and deliverance. All of these and more are the results of the goal of the "ekklesia" (assembly of called out ones). The goal is Christ formed by the Holy Spirit in a people becoming His character and His nature in the world producing the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

This is the work of the Holy Spirit in the humble and not a work of man's prideful efforts. The Holy Spirit brings the life of Christ within replacing our dead self-life. It is Christ being formed within by the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The major fruit of the Spirit flowing from the Christ within is love. Unconditional love flowing from a pure heart leads to all the other fruits of the Spirit including joy, peace and faith to name a few. (Galatians 5:22:KJV)

The love of Christ flowing from a pure heart is the most powerful world changing force. Fear, pride, lust, greed, envy, and every evil work can be overpowered by love from a pure hearted ekklesia touching and changing our household and those who abide within then spilling out to the world.

Paul spoke clearly the goal of ministry to Timothy.

1 Timothy 1:5 NIV: The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

The Church is moving to embrace the goal expressed in the early church.

For a number of years the prophets have proclaimed a coming paradigm shift and the return of functioning apostles to help lead toward the new landscape. Many in the past have also added that they had no clear picture of what the new landscape of church would look like.

Now that the shift is in process and the new landscape is coming into view many are extremely surprised and even astonished. Some doubt that it is God doing the shifting. In reality we are all in a state of transition and are at different places in the journey of transition. And some have not yet taken the first step toward following this movement of the cloud and pillar of fire.

Some key words of this season are: intimacy with God, Father's love, "Christ in you", Holy Spirit saturation, soaking, God's manifest presence, transformation, reformation, church without walls and more. Relationship is a major concept of the shift - first intimate relationship with God and then with one another. The love and gifts flowing through relationship are becoming the primary structure replacing institutional structure.

Without brokenness leading to real repentance and real humility it is impossible to relate to God intimately. Intimacy with God is primary. Without intimately relating with God through the Holy Spirit it is not possible to see what is shifting and how it will look. To begin to view some light on the shift it is absolutely necessary to get in close contact with the Holy Spirit and get out of the mind set that our particular flavor of religious system or structure is the final destination. The Spirit must reveal to us that our "system" is NOT the church. We do not go to the church nor join the church. We are added to the church and we are the church. The church is the "ekklesia" (assembly of called out ones). Most every Bible teacher has taught about the priesthood of the believer but it has not really been fully practiced in the past. The "clergy/laity" system made it impossible for the full reality of the priesthood of the believer to come forth.

The church is NOT passing away - the systems are passing away.

In the confusion of the transition some think that anarchy and rebellion are coming against the church and attempting to throw off the leadership of apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd and teacher. If there are any such people out there I personally have not come into contact with them and they are definitely wrong. Let me assure you that the new paradigm will bring forth many times more gifted leaders than we ever had in the passing systems. The Holy Spirit will have freedom to bring forth multitudes of gifted men and women who have in the passing systems been relegated to pew sitting, or limited jobs within the system.

In recent decades many have become discouraged and have left religious systems in search of more reality of God. Often these pilgrims have spent years in a wilderness type experiences. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before joining with others to fulfill his purposes. Moses spent 40 years in the desert before joining with others and moving toward the fulfillment of His life ministry. Paul also endured a wilderness season. Many scattered wilderness dwellers who had left the old are beginning to re connect and find their place in the ekklesia. For the most part they never wanted to leave God but had to leave the life limiting traditional clergy/laity structure. It is not the way of God to remain isolated from the rest of the body forever though the wilderness experience may have served a purpose and seasons of separation alone with God are often significantly used of God.

We are now coming to understand the difference between leadership and headship.

There is one head of the ekklesia. There are no people to stand as head over the ekklesia or to represent the head to the mature believers. The head is Christ Jesus flowing through the Holy Spirit and living in all his people.

Then you ask, what is leadership?

Leadership implies being in front of a moving group that is following. It simply means those further down the road. They are all on the same road. The mature lead the immature until they are matured and then they lead other immature in turn. Spiritual maturity is being able to clearly hear God and then being able to fully obey. If we are childish and yet have a self-life - if we are plagued by unhealed inner wounds and inner needs that drive us, we will not clearly hear God and will lack the ability to fully obey or carry out the instruction or direction from God.

Another word for mature is elder. Now, we need to lose our understanding of an elder from the passing system of church offices. We also need to lose our understanding of apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastor and teachers as church system offices. Elders lead by example training and assisting the immature. They shepherd and oversee. They allow the maturing disciples to watch them and their lives. Then the elders release the maturing disciples to do the work while they watch. Then they leave them doing the work and relate to the mature ones no longer as sons or daughters but as grown brothers and sisters who are themselves now mature or elder.

The servant gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd and teacher are already in the people while they were yet immature but cannot flow out to others until they are mature (elder). Therefore elders may be by their gifting apostles, prophets, evangelist, shepherds or teachers. The practical reality of the masses flowing and exercising their spiritual gifts greatly multiplies the leadership of the ekklesia. This greatly increases the discipleship and evangelism of the Body.

All this takes place in a multitude of generic family style groups and public gatherings where Christ in the people by the Holy Spirit connects with the manifest presence of Christ from the throne by the Holy Spirit and the true Head is joined to the Body.

This living Body of believers released to function as priests and kings will provide millions more leaders to lead the immature in multitudes of local groups and to flow from group to group bringing the gifts God has given them.

The Holy Spirit will guide everyone who can hear and obey.

Those who cannot yet hear and obey will be led and trained by elders who are matured through much affliction, humbled and purified by the love of God experience, to the point that they can clearly hear and obey. This is God's original design to bring forth the Body and Bride of Christ into the world. Christ being formed in many bodies networked together by the Holy Spirit as the one Body of Christ. It is Christ in you that is the hope of glory and the method for the kingdom of God to function on earth as it is in heaven.

Be careful not to be misled.

It can be easy to be mislead by the fierce reactions of those who are not yet understanding the shift and are fearful of the loss of the systems that have served us for so long. Also do not be mislead by those who would attempt to hijack the developing movement with a repackaging of the passing system practices with new labels.

The shift is not all about how or where groups come together. You can have the old system traditional church in a house or at work and simply continue the traditions of men in a different venue. Or you can have a Christ led first century style assembly in a house or a red brick building. The move is about Christ truly becoming the head in a practical real way and not just in word only.

Consider the timing.

This shift is a work of God through the Holy Spirit and is occurring over a period of time. This will NOT all happen today or tomorrow. It may be years or it may be hundreds of years before this transition season is over. It would be a huge mistake to get into the flesh and try to bring about by human effort what God is doing. It would be equally problematic to try to run ahead of the work the Holy Spirit is doing. Feeding from the tree of knowledge of good and of evil led us into the perversions of the past. Partaking from the tree of life of intimate relationship with God to clearly hear Him and fully obey His direction will cause us to walk precisely in His will and timing. For today and the near future it is certain that the presentation of church will have many and varied transitional models that God will use as much as he can.

Many factors will affect the transition including world political conditions. In increasing parts of the world, the true church is underground because of governmental and religious extreme persecution. While in other places freedom and favor for the church may be increasing.

The Early Church (Ekklesia) Model

In the early church the gifted but humble apostolic servant leaders lived among the people and taught them publicly and from house to house. They ate together with gladness and simplicity of heart. A multiplicity of elders (spiritually mature leaders) cared for the city church that met in houses and gathered publicly daily on occasions.

Acts 2:46: So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Acts 20:17-20: From Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. And when they had come to him, he said to them: "You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, "serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; "how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,

War and Glory

by Rick Joyner

In August of 1993, I had a vision of the church. It was represented as an island in the middle of a sea. There were many different types of buildings all over this island, each of which I understood to represent a different denomination or movement.

These buildings seemed to clash with each other architecturally as there were very old ones next to very modern ones. There was a war going on between many of the buildings, and most of them looked like bombed out shells. People were still living in the buildings, but most were starving and wounded.

The Controlling Spirits

There were two dark spirits over the island directing this war. One was named Jealousy and the other one Fear. They congratulated each other every time one of the buildings suffered damage, or people were wounded.

I then saw two powerful and frightening spirits rising over the sea. These became storms. One was Rage and the other Lawlessness. They were stirring up the sea and causing great waves to crash onto the island. Soon these storms became so large that they seemed even more threatening to the island than the war.

I felt that the people in the city had to be warned about these storms, and several apparent watchmen were trying to do this, but no one would listen to them. The people only debated and argued about whether the watchmen should be trusted. This was remarkable because anyone who just looked up could see the storms for themselves.

These wars had left so many people wounded that the hospitals were fast becoming the largest buildings on the island. The hospitals were movements or denominations that had given themselves to healing the wounded. As these grew, the other warring factions had no respect for them as being a place where even their own wounded were being cared for, but were instead more resolved to destroy them than the other buildings.

As the war continued, even those who were not badly wounded had the appearance of phantoms, or they became grotesquely deformed from the starvation and disease. Anytime a building received a supply of food, which would attract people, it would become a target. I could not comprehend how even a war could be so cruel—and this was the church!

In the midst of the battle, men were still trying to add to their buildings, or start new ones, but it was futile. Whenever one building would start to rise a little higher than the others, or any time a new building was started, it would become the main target of all of the other buildings, and it would quickly be reduced to rubble.

I was then shown many powerful leaders who were conducting this war. All of them had the same word on their forehead: “Treachery.” I was surprised that anyone would follow someone with that written on them, but they did. I was reminded of II Corinthians 11:20, “For you bear with you anyone if he enslaves you, if he devours you, if he takes advantage of you, if he exalts himself, if he hits you in the face.”

A Remnant

However, there were people who appeared as lights in almost every building. These lights were in almost every building. These lights refused to take part in the fighting, but spent their time trying to repair the buildings, or nurse the wounded. Even though it was impossible to keep up with the damage or the wounded, they did not stop trying.

It was also apparent that each of these lights had the power to heal wounds, and that power was increasing as they worked. Those who were healed became lights just like those who healed them. It was obvious that these individuals who were committed to healing the wounded were now able to do more than the hospitals because of the ruthlessness of the attacks on the hospitals. Understanding this, the hospitals dispersed their people as “healing teams” which spread out across the island and moved in to many of the other buildings. There were also small camps around the perimeter of the island. Some of these were involved in the war between the buildings, and seemed intent on trying to destroy all of the buildings so that they could bring people in to their camps. The leaders of these camps had the same word “Treachery” written on their foreheads.

There were a few of these camps which were not involved in the war, and they too appeared as lights. These were also growing in authority, but it was a different authority than the healing powers that the others had. They had authority over events. They were praying to stop small battles, and to keep small storms away, and it was happening as they prayed. The two spirits over the city and the two storms became very intimidated by these small camps. I felt that these intercessory groups were actually close to having the authority to stop the major battles and big storms, which were obviously the source of agitation of these large spirits.

The Tragedy

There were multitudes of boats and ships all around the island that were waiting to enter the city as soon as the fighting stopped. Many of these boats were full of refugees from other wars, and many were wounded. There were also ships bearing kings, presidents and those who appeared wealthy and prosperous. These were all afraid of the storms, but they could not enter the city because of the fighting. Their groans and screams were so loud I was surprised that no one in the city would hear them; no one even seemed aware that they were out there.

In His Wisdom

Then I saw the Lord standing and watching. He was so glorious that I wondered why I had not seen Him before, or why everyone in the city did not stop to worship Him. To my amazement, no one was able to see Him. I then looked into the eyes of some of the people, and they were all so “blood-shot” that I was surprised that they could see anything.

I then wondered why the Lord did not stop the fighting, and seemed content to just watch. As if He had understood my thoughts, He turned and said to me, “This is My church. These were the houses men tried to build for Me. I knocked on the door of each one, but they would not open to Me. I would have brought peace because I will only dwell in the city of peace.” Then He turned and indicated the people in the ships, saying: “If I allowed all of the these people to come to the city now they would just be used in the war. When their cries become louder than the war, I will build a place for them.”

Then He looked at me with great earnestness and said, “I allowed this to happen so that it would never happen again!” It is hard to convey the power of this statement, but imparted to me a deep understanding that He allowed this conflict to continue out of profound wisdom. He then said, “Until you understand this you cannot understand what I am about to do.”

When the cries of those in the boats became louder than the conflict in the city, the Lord gave a command and the sea was released. Great tidal waves arose and began to sweep across the island until they covered the buildings. The spirits that were storms joined the spirits over the island, and they all grew to almost double their previous size. Then the island completely disappeared under the darkness of the spirits and the raging sea.

The Lord did not move as this was happening. I knew that my only protection was to stand as close to Him as possible. I could not see anything but Him during this great storm. As I looked at His face I could see both hurt and resolve.

The House Of the Lord is Built

Slowly, the storms died down and the tides receded. The individuals who were the lights in the buildings emerged and remained standing where the buildings had once been. Then the Lord, who had been on the edge of the island, moved to the center and said, “Now I will build My house.”

And all of those who were lights started turning toward the Lord. As they turned, they became even brighter, and each group was changed into a living pillar right where they stood. Soon it became obvious that these pillars were the framework of a building which would almost cover the entire island. The pillars were different colors, shapes, and sizes. It was hard to understand how all of these, being so different, would work as a single framework; however, the Lord seemed very pleased with each one, and they did eventually all fit together.

The People Come

Then the ships and boats all started landing on the island. There were multitudes of people. Each ship or boat was from a different country or race of people. Soon I began to think that, even as large as it was, there were too many people for the building. Then the Lord looked at me and said very sternly, “We will build as many rooms as we need-no one will be turned away.”

This was said so sternly that I resolved to never again consider turning people away as an option. I also pondered how the biggest problem before was how to get people to come to the buildings. Now the big problem was what to do with all of the people.

The Cemetery

When each ship arrived, the people on it were led straight to the Lord. He looked into the eyes of each one and said, “If you trust Me, you will die for me.” When one said “I will die for You,” He immediately thrust His sword right through his heart. This caused very real pain. To those who tried to avoid the sword, it was obviously even more painful. To those who relaxed, it did not seem to hurt as much.

They were then taken to a cemetery with the words “Obscurity” over the gate. I felt compelled to follow them. Those who had been stabbed were checked to see that they were really dead before they were buried. Some clung to life for a long time, and were laid off to one side. Quickly, those who were buried began to arise as lights just like those who had survived the storm. I noticed that they were not staying in their tombs the same length of time. Some of them arose before those who were clinging to life were even buried.

When I first looked at this cemetery, it looked like a dreadful place, and I did not think that it fit at all on this now glorious island. As I left the cemetery, I turned to look back at it, and it looked beautiful. I could not figure out what was different, when one of the workers said to me knowingly, “The cemetery has not changed—you have.”

I then looked at the building and it was even more glorious than I had remembered. I then looked at the island and felt the same thing—it had become much more beautiful. I remembered the Scripture, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones” (Psalm 116:15). The worker, who was still looking at me, then said, “You have not died yet, but were changed just by being close to those who have. When you die you will see even more glory.”

Those who were emerging as lights from the cemetery were each being led to their own place in the building, which would have their name on it. Some joined the walls, others joined the pillars, some became windows or doors. They remained people even after they became a part of the building.

The Test

I returned to the Lord's side. Standing in His presence was so wonderful I could not imagine why anyone would not be willing to die for Him, but many of the people coming from the ships did refuse. These would all back away from Him at the request. Many of these went back to the ships, some of which left and some of which remained in the harbor.

A few of the people who refused to die stayed on the island and were allowed to walk about freely, and even enter the House of the Lord. They seemed to love and bask in the glory of it all. Many of these began to shine with a glory too, but they only reflected what was coming from the others.

As I was thinking that it was not right for these to be allowed to stay, the Lord said to me, “My patience will win many of these, but even those that never give me their lives, I love and am pleased to let them enjoy my glory. Never turn away those who love My glory.” These really did enjoy the house, and enjoyed the presence of the Lord that radiated from the house, but they seemed timid, and retreated when the Lord Himself came close to them.

I then watched as those who had refused to die for the Lord began to act as if His house were their own, and had been built for them. I wanted to be angry at their great presumption, but I could not feel anger even though I wanted to. I then understood that it was because I was standing so close to the Lord that I could not be mad. This forced me to make the decision to stay close to Him or move away so that I could be angry.

I was surprised that this was a difficult decision, that I would even consider anything to move away from the Lord, but it honestly was. Out of fear at what was arising within me, I stepped closer to the Lord. He immediately reached out and grabbed me as if I was about to fall off of a cliff. As I looked behind me I was astonished to find that I had been on the very edge of one, and had I taken that step away from the Lord to feel the anger, I would have stepped off of it.

He then said to me, “In this house I can tolerate presumption more than that anger. That anger would start the war again.” I was then overwhelmed with the knowledge that I had not yet made the decision to die for Him either, and that I too had been presumptuously feeling possessive of both the house and the Lord. When I saw this great evil in my own heart I was appalled and immediately begged the Lord to destroy my evil heart with His word.

Resurrection Life

When the Lord pierced My heart, I was surprised to feel so little pain when it seemed to have been so hard on others. He then said, “Those who request death die easier.” I remembered His statement in Matthew 21:44 “And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whoever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”

I did not remember being carried to the cemetery, but just as if no time at all had passed, I was emerging from it again. Now the glory of everything I saw was unspeakable. I looked at the rock and loved it. I looked at trees, the sky and clouds, and could not believe how wonderful they were. A sparrow seemed more glorious than any bird I had ever seen. I wondered at the great treasure that this little bird was, and why I had not appreciated him like this before.

I then looked at the presumptuous people. Not only did I feel no temptation to be angry, I loved them so much I would have let each one pierce my heart again if it would help them. I then began to think of how blessed I was to be able to meet them and be with them. Now I actually wanted them to stay and could not even comprehend how I was ever tempted to be angry at them—they were much greater treasures than the sparrow!

Then the Lord stood next to me. Though I did not think it was possible, He was much more glorious than before, and I was able to bear it. He said, “This is why the death of My people is so precious to Me. Those who seek to save their life always lose it, but those who lose their life for My sake find true life. Now you know true life because you know love.”

I then looked at the house and all of those who composed it. Everything and every one that I looked at seemed to stir up this great feeling of love that was more wonderful than anything I had ever felt before. I wanted to go look at or talk to each one, but I did not want to leave the Lord's side, Whose presence was even more compelling. Knowing my thoughts, he said, “You need never fear leaving My side, because I have made My abode in you and I will be with you everywhere that you go.”

As I watched the presumptuous people, they were enjoying all of the blessings, and even thought of themselves as the reasons for them, but they really were not even a part of what was being built. Having just been one of them I also knew how shallow their enjoyment was, compared to what it could be, and a great compassion came over me for them. As I continued watching these people, they gradually became thinner in substance until they were just like the phantoms I had seen in the city that had been destroyed. Again I thought of the Lord's words, “Those who seek to save their life will lose it, but those who lose their life for My sake will find it.”

No Limits

Then I looked at how the building kept getting higher, and the higher it went the more glory it exuded and the further it could be seen. This resulted in even more ships and people coming through the storms, which were still raging, but seemed unable to affect the island. As I wondered how high the building could get, the Lord turned to me again and, as if He were answering my thoughts, said, “There is no limit to how high we can build this because I am the foundation and love is the cement.”

This caused me to look at the cement, which was transparent but radiated a great power. I wondered how I had not noticed this before; it was now so obvious and captivating. I then started pondering how I seemed blind to even the greatest wonders of this building until the Lord directed my attention to them. It caused me to turn back to the Lord and watch everything to which He gave His attention.

The Lord then began looking at the people who now composed the building. As I looked at them again I was immediately struck by the fact that they were more than people—I knew that they were the “new creation” that had transcended this creation. They had bridged the gap between the physical and spiritual realms, and were clearly a part of both. They were unquestionably supernatural, which did not mean that they were more than natural, but far more natural than anything” natural” I had ever seen. They were more real than anything I had ever considered “real.” They made everything else seem like a shadow, and this sense increased as they continued to change.

Soon the glory that was coming from them could be both seen and felt. The feeling was not like a touch, but like an emotion. As I walked close enough to this glory, it made me feel so good that the only way that I can describe it is like a wonderful intoxication, not one that clouded the mind, but illuminated it. I felt somehow ennobled, not with pride, but with a powerful sense of destiny. I also felt a profound security, as if I were in complete harmony with the ground, the air and especially the Lord and His house. The feeling was so good I never wanted to move again.

With the addition of each new boatload of people, the transformation of those already a part of the building would continue, and the glory of the whole building would increase and expand. This made everyone in the building greatly rejoice with the coming of each new group of people.

Sharing the Glory

When those who came from the cemetery took their place in the building, those who were already a part tried to give the new ones their own glory. As they did this, the glory radiating from the Lord would increase, and He would give even more to those who had given their own glory away. Those who were the most devoted to this sharing would be the ones used to start the next level of the house, which kept going higher and higher.

I thought of how opposite this was from the jealousy which had prevailed previously in the city. I then tried to ponder the jealousy to understand it more, but it was almost impossible to do. Because I could no longer feel jealousy, I had a difficult time even understanding what it was—it seemed as unreal as if it had only existed in bad dreams. The joy of sharing was so great that not doing it now seemed incomprehensible. The more the glory was shared, the more each one received to share.

The joy of sharing was so great that I knew that all of us would be spending eternity just seeking others with whom to share the glory. I had a strong sense of knowing that the Lord would be creating many new worlds just for us to have new places to share His glory. I then knew that this was why He had created the universe with such diversity, and why He created it to continually expand at a rapid pace. Those who touched His glory were touched by a love that had to share the glory, which caused them to expand. He had given us the universe to share His glory with. He had set in motion a glorious chain reaction that would never stop! There were no limits on time or space, and we would need every bit of it!

The Storms Return

Then suddenly my attention was turned toward the storms that had continued to grow in the sea. To my shock they had grown larger and faster than the house of the Lord, and were now coming toward the island.

Great waves covered the island and the building disappeared from my view, even though I was still very close to it. The fury of this storm was beyond comprehension, but I felt no fear at all. I knew that it was because I had already died to this world and had a life that could never be taken from me. As wonderful as the island had become, I was just happy to die physically so that I would be free to carry the glory of the Lord to the rest of the universe that had so captured my attention. It really would have been hard to choose to stay or go, I just rested and waited.

Gradually the storms abated and the building then re-emerged. Both the buildings and the island were much smaller, but even more glorious. Then I noticed that the storms were just off shore and were returning. This happened several times, and each time the building would emerge it would be smaller, but more glorious. Each time that this happened the storms were also much smaller—they were wearing themselves out on the island. Soon the storms could only generate small waves that posed no threat of any real damage. The glory of the house was now beyond any human description.

Then the clouds dissipated altogether into the most beautiful sky I had ever seen. As I gazed into the sky I began to realize that it was filled with the glory that was being emitted from the house. As I looked at the house I was amazed that there was no damage from the storm, though it was much smaller. Even so, the glory now coming from the house was much greater than before, and was reflected by everything. I felt that it was so great that it must already be extending far beyond the earth. Then the vision changed and I was alone with the Lord. All of the great feelings were gone—even the love. He looked at me earnestly and said, “The war is almost over. It is time to prepare for the storms. Tell My people that no one with His brother's blood on His hands will be used to build My house.”

I was trying hard to listen to these words in order to heed them, while still thinking about the great love I had felt. He then said, “This was a dream, but it is real. You have known everything that I have shown you in this dream in your heart. Now believe with your heart and My love will be real to you again. This is your quest—to know my love.”

Comments

The general interpretation of this vision is obvious, but I do think that many of the feelings that I had during this experience are an important part of the message. In looking at the different buildings which I knew represented denominations or movements, the architectural clash was so striking that it was grotesque. It was as if they were all so intent on being different that the most hideous skyline had been the result. I could not imagine anyone who happened upon such a city having any desire to enter it, even if the conflict was not taking place.

The church is doing much more damage to herself through infighting than the enemies without are able to do. At that time I was consciously surprised that the Lord did not intervene in this destructive fighting. Those who were fighting against the other denominations, or movements, were all disqualified from being a part of the house the Lord built. This reminded me of King David, who, because he was “a man of war and had shed blood” (1 Chronicles 28:3), was not allowed to build the temple of the Lord. This did not disqualify David from salvation, or from being considered one of the great men of God of all time. I felt that many true saints, and even great men of God, were tragically disqualifying themselves from this most wonderful work of all by becoming embroiled in this spiritual civil war. This even caused them to lose the light that hey had; only the peacemakers, and those who to trying to repair and build instead of tearing down, radiated with light in this vision. I think that it was significant that almost all, if not all, of these buildings contained those who were true lights. These may appear as small lights now, but they will be the foundation upon which the Lord will build His house.

Because the sea sometimes represents “mass humanity” in Scripture (see Revelation 17:15), the multitudes are going to rise up in great waves which will destroy much of the present visible structure of the church. Those who are true lights will not be swept away by the waves. Those who walk in this truth have a foundation which cannot be shaken. The Lord's command to release the sea did not cause the sea to rise up, but just removed that which was restraining it. The sea then came with fury against the island, as if it were being controlled by a great hatred. I believe this represented a great hatred against visible, institutional Christianity that will arise, and the Lord will allow it to destroy these institutions.

When these great tidal waves had stopped, there were no Christian institutions as represented by the buildings that men had constructed. However, all of the real Christians remained. I do not think that it is wrong to keep trying to repair these structures, as the Lord honored and preserved those who did, but this vision affirmed deep within me the need to focus on building people, rather than trying to build another institution that will be able to stand in these times—none of them will stand.

Even though these present buildings were destroyed, they each contained those who were to be pillars in His house. The house of the Lord was a brand new building but those who became the main supports in it came from almost every denomination and movement. The Lord is “the wise man who brings forth from His treasures things both new and old.” The Lord does have new wine to serve, but Isaiah 25:6 declares that the Lord will also serve “refined, aged wine.” The Lord will not use either the old or the new, but both the old and new.

The Lord's house was built in the midst of the increasing storms of rage and lawlessness. It radiated as an even greater light because of the storms. I was encouraged that the Lord will build, on this earth, a church that really will reflect His glory, and that this age will not end until He does.

It could not be any other way. Moses contended when the Lord threatened to destroy Israel, that this would only leave the testimony that He could bring people out of Egypt, but could not lead them into the Promised Land. The Lord will have a testimony, through the church, that will last for eternity. That testimony will be that He not only can forgive the sins of His church, but He also has the power and wisdom to deliver her from her sins, and maker her into a glorious bride without spot or wrinkle:

Mt 16:13—When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
