God Says, "The Winds of Change Are Coming on a Global Scale

Introduction: I believe that this is about as important a word as there is right now. I know hundreds of believers who are feeling these winds of change, but not understanding their significance, not recognizing the work that is needed to prepare for them. -Editor

Recently, a friend of mine sent this communiqué to thousands of church leaders around the world:

"In 1998, Hurricane Mitch wrecked havoc across Central America, especially in Honduras. Thousands of people perished, were injured and many missing. The infrastructure of roads was decimated and 150 bridges were destroyed or damaged. The Choluteca Bridge, built by Japanese engineers and donated to the Hondurans, was the most modern bridge in the region and it remained intact. While it was not damaged, the bridge was no longer necessary because the hurricane changed the flow of the river that once ran beneath it. A bridge typically spans a body of water and connects two pieces of dry land. When the water beneath it no longer flows, you can hardly call it a bridge. Without water, a bridge has lost its purpose. It is simply a monument to a past feat of engineering but it has no current relevance."

In the Church today the Winds of Change are blowing, and this wind of Heaven will alter the course of cultures and ministries. God's wind is now blowing, and what is not based on His foundational reality will become a relic of the past. Several months ago the Lord revealed a prophetic picture to me. I saw a vast plain that was covered with sand. As a wind began to blow, the sand was pushed away to reveal a large foundation underneath. The foundation was Christ Himself infused with the ministry gifts He will use to transform the earth. I realized that the covering of sand was very shallow—just enough to obscure what lay beneath. This foundational truth will not be discovered by human intellect but be revealed by the breath of God's Spirit.

For the last several months people have come to me after some of our church gatherings to tell me they have been feeling a wind blowing against them during our times of worship. These people were not sitting near air conditioning vents. No one walked past them and stirred the air. There was no natural explanation for the wind. At a recent conference in Africa, a wind could be felt so strongly that several people were literally blown backwards off their feet during worship. The wind of Heaven is blowing on the Church.

Prophetic Word of the Lord: Winds of Change Are Coming

While I was still in Africa, between meetings, the Lord impressed upon me the following word:

"Winds of Change are coming on a global scale—no longer to be viewed in a local context. When the Winds of Change blow in your meetings, the source of the wind will not have its origin from a specific geographic location, but will come from My very breath in Heaven. I am blowing a new wind from My throne upon the earth, and as it strikes the earth it will disperse in all directions to touch all nations.

"There is a shift taking place. This shift will realign those hearing My voice to prophesy in the direction of My coming changes. You will at first appear to be speaking into nothing, into the lesser places—to unrecognized locations, but this is part of the shift I will bring.

"This Wind of Change will stir into existence new ministries and uncover new giftings in My people. The wind will blow away the layer of dust that lies atop My foundation. Clarity will come as the wind blows.

"It will appear that an old foundation has been revealed. It is neither old nor new. My revelation is from timeless eternity. As the wind blows you will begin to understand what these last years have been about. I have not given you a full understanding of this last season because understanding is not what you have needed. I have covered what I am about to reveal until this time.

"These things will not be discovered with the mind. I will reveal these things to you by the breath of My Spirit. I have allowed this foundation to be covered, not to hide it, but to give it time to become seasoned and strong.

"Hear Me, Church. My Wind is blowing. A shift is taking place. You are about to see the effects of My breath upon the earth. Just as I breathed life into Adam, and just as I breathed life into the Church at her birth, I am about to breathe a new thing upon you. My Winds of Change are coming."

To Oregon

The Lord shows your state as a sharply divided place. The lines are drawn and both sides are dug and prepared for the long haul. There is a face off and a stare down as both armies are waiting for the battle. It’s like there are equal two sides and they both are fiercely staring at each other, with weapons drawn and ready.

Then Jesus walks down the middle of the battle lines (between the two sides) and begins to have people switch sides in this battle. The scene is one where he points to people and then they go over his head and join the other army. Then he brings reinforcements in place: more angels to join his side. Suddenly the sides no longer seem so equal as the angels have tipped the balance towards one side.

Then someone asks the Lord, “Why are people changing sides?” He says, “It’s because there are many who will be saved and redeemed who are living in darkness right now. They shall join my army. On the other hand, there are many who say they are on my side yet there are not. I am just going to make sure everyone knows who is on which side of this battle, for there are people who will need to switch sides before the final battle. There are also spies who will need to be found out, for many who say they are on my side are actually not working for me. They are instead covertly working against me. They shall be exposed for who they are. For in this state, all the secret dealings will come into the light and there will be no more secrets. My angels of truth shall expose them and people shall be forced to stand up and takes sides.”

The Cities of Oregon.

The Lord then shows the city of Albany, he says that this city is ground zero for the battle. It is the epicenter where the lines are drawn between the sides. It’s like there is a picture of a city where a line of light meets a line of darkness and there is always contention between the two. It shall become a “New Albany” where my Spirit shall reign freely with no hindrances, but not without a huge struggle.

Then he highlights Grant’s Pass. This city shall be named, “Pass over,” for I will protect it and pass over it.

Portland is a gateway city. And he asks for this city to “Let the King of Glory enter in.” But in his heart he is sad about this city, for in the spirit it is a very barren place. Yet there will be patches of light which will shine through. But overall much of this city will remain in darkness. But surrounding the city will be many who worship the Lord. Their praises shall be heard.”

Bend shall be a bend in the river of the Lord.

Corvallis shall see a great light of the Lord. They shall see a sign and a wonder in the sky which will glorify the name of the Lord.

The Lord shakes his head at Eugene and says that, “This city needs to repent before me. Then I will hear their prayers.”

Medford is a Holy place, a place where the angels can go freely. And they shall be seen there. It is a also a city of Hope and a refuge from the world. I call it a “blessed place.”

Salem is a dark and barren place in the spiritual realms, and they shall have their own reward. Yet there are a few who are faithful and who are witnessing. They shall stand out in the darkness. I call for them to keep on going and remain faithful and I shall take note of them.

Oregon, the battles lines are drawn, and the battle is waiting to be fought. Yet there shall be many who change sides at the last minute. Therefore, expect this and know that I am doing a sifting of the armies, both the army of light and of darkness. Therefore be careful about who you judge.

Oregon will be a state of “Patches.” There will patches of light amidst the fog and darkness. And everything will crystallize into focus as the Lord brings about a new clarity between the light and the dark. Then the angels shall join the battle and the battle will be over before it begins. The enemy will be defeated and his forces shall be brought down and those who remain faithful shall stand victorious in the light. And they shall sing a new song and my glory shall come and cover the land.

"I saw a Vision of this Whirlwind of FIRE Trailblazing Across OREGON"


Dear Denny,

I had a vision of you while Todd Bentley was praying for you at the meetings in Lakeland, when we were up on the platform together.

I saw a vision of this whirlwind of fire--trailblazing across Oregon, and it was burning up forest trees and the fire was spreading and it was getting larger and larger and it began to consume towns and cities--all across the State of Oregon.

As I watched, I also saw that it began to pull "golden stones" (people) out of the ground--they were alive. As these came out of the ground, they swirled within this whirlwind of fire and they were full of life. I saw these golden stones begin to shine really bright and then they were flung out all over the nation of America. Hot, golden living stones.

The Lord is showing me that what is taking place with you and your ministry, Denny (based in Albany, Oregon), is going to set Oregon on fire.

The Lord is also showing me a city--Medford, Oregon. The reason I know of this city is because my parents used to live there. I also saw that this fire touched Medford in a great way. The wind is blowing and the fire is burning and watch out Oregon, here it comes! Many people will be sent out from Oregon--golden stones to touch the nation.

Testimonies: Kirkland and Medford

Kirkland, WA

- As Catherine was soaking in the presence of God she got a word of knowledge about someone having metal in their hip. She had some students from the masters commission pray for his leg to grow out and for the metal in the hip. His leg grew and he regained complete mobility in his hip. Then they got another word of knowledge about a person with metal in their knee so they prayed for that person and they got totally healed. Another person they prayed for also got a new gallbladder.

- A 5 year old in our treasure hunt group drew a picture of a woman with brown hair and a blue shirt sitting in a wheelchair. When we arrived at the hospital there she was, an elderly lady with brown hair, a blue shirt, and sitting in a wheelchair. She had just been released after having a total of 5 back surgeries and was going home to recover. The team prayed for her and she was able to stand up and sit down totally pain free.

- Several people were healed of eye issues after a three year old had a word of knowledge about eyes.

- A teenage boy made a card about restoration and went to the local mall to give it away. He felt led to give it to a man who ended up to be a pastor who was writing a sermon and reading a book on restoration.

- A lady who’d never been on a treasure hunt before went up to an older Jewish lady in the mall and talked to her about how God can heal her high blood pressure and tendonitis. The lady asked her if God really hears our prayers and she gave her a picture about God holding the world in His hands and being with us even when there’s lots of tears. The lady said she’d had many tears lately and we were able to pray together.

- A woman felt led to give away her favorite bracelet to someone she’d just met and, about 30 minutes later, someone she didn’t know gave her a necklace with a prophetic name on it that the Lord had given her.

- A couple on a treasure hunt were refused access to the emergency room so the went to the critical care ward and got talking to a guy in the waiting room. His wife had been admitted for an infectious disease and they were able to pray with him give him a card for her. The card had a picture of a door with a spider web and the phrase written “to my daughter, you are shut up in a night but I am weaving a web of love that when you leave you’ll run right into.”


- Melissa got talking with a guy who had just released himself from the psych ward. Earlier in the day someone had a word of knowledge about suicidal thoughts and this guy had been attempting suicide since he was 9 years old. He was extremely sad, said he never felt loved and didn’t think that God cared about him. Melissa got a word of knowledge that he was into creative design and prophesied over him about that and just shared the love of God with him. Later another guy from our group, Dean, came up and gave him a card. The card he’d drawn had a picture of a sad man with stitches on his forehead and then another picture of the same man who was very happy, had no scar and a blue mark on his head. The Lord told him that this wasn’t a physical injury but represented this man’s thoughts. When Dean gave it to the man he didn’t even need to explain it to him because, as soon as the man saw it he said “this card is a metaphor about my mind”. The man on the card even looked like him though it had been drawn several hours earlier. They were able to pray for him and speak truth into his life.

- Someone drew a picture of 3 doors representing 3 decisions and gave it to a woman in the mall. The woman had been crying out to God on what to do with 3 decisions that she was facing in her life and knew that this was confirmation that the Lord would direct her on what to do.

- April got a word of knowledge about someone having problems in their spine so drew a picture of a spine and gave it to a woman who had degenerative disc issues. The woman placed the picture against her back and by the next day the woman was completely healed. Another woman with fused vertebrae by her head was also completely healed.

- A teenage boy drew a picture of an angel standing over a kid and went to the hospital to give the picture away. He found a mom who had a two year old with mental illness and was able to pray for him.

- A lady who’d never done treasure hunts felt pain in her right wrist so went in a store near by and found a lady who had pain in her wrist so bad that she couldn’t sleep at night. They prayed together and the woman felt tingling in her wrists.

- One woman ran after a lady she saw in a wheelchair and asked if she could pray for healing for her. The lady asked for prayer that she wouldn’t be afraid of dying so the woman prayed with her and her mom who was there. The lady and her mom were so happy about this encounter that they all took pictures together.

- One of the heads of the ER wants local prophetic artists to display their work with explanations of the prophetic art throughout the ER.

- Several of us meet a nurse in the hallway of the hospital lobby and gave her thank you cards for all that she’s done and given to others. She was moved to tears and let us pray for her knee.

- A teenager gave a lady playing violin in the hospital lobby a prophetic art card. The lady was a believer who was led by God to play her music in the hospital to release healing. They were able to pray for, bless and prophesy over each other.

- While in an elevator several people were able to pray for a man who’d dropped a cutting board on his toe and his foot was completely healed.

- Another woman prayed for a Pakistani nurse and gave her several words of knowledge

- One group met a man on dialysis and told him" God wants to release peace and touch your body”. They prayed and prophesied over him and he ended up weeping and crying. The man wrote poetry to God so they were able to explain to him about prayer and later found out that some people they knew had been praying for this man to have an encounter with God.

- Through a prophetic card a woman made about magnolia flowers she was able to minister to at least 5 different people. One woman said that was the kind of flowers she’d had in her wedding bouquet so it gave her hope that her struggling marriage could be restored. They prayed together for breakthrough in their marriage and the couple noticed a shift that very day.



McMinnville, OR

Hearing
- Through words of knowledge in an evening service we saw an elderly man’s hearing restored so that he no longer needed a hearing aid, several tumors dissolve and pain leave from a woman’s throat, an ingrown toenail totally healed, and jaw, knee, and muscle pain healed.

Arthritis
- A guy on our team had made a prophetic art card in Washington two days earlier for a woman named Annie who wanted to go to Africa and was good at math but he hadn’t found anyone to give it to. When we arrived in McMinnville, Oregon he got a word of knowledge that a woman had rheumatoid arthritis and it ended up to be Annie. She got totally healed an ministered to. She later shared with him how she had always wanted to go to Africa and that this was an incredible confirmation to her.

Gas station ministry
- On our drive back to Redding we realized we were going to run out of gas before the next exit so all started praying/declaring for the gas to multiply. We started smelling gas fumes so the driver turned off the AC but the Lord told him to keep it on. The fumes went away and we drove on I-5 on an empty tank for about 15 minutes. When we reached the exit the gas station ended up to have a Christian book and clothing section where we got to pray and prophesy over a believing family traveling through the area.

- At one of the gas stations we stopped at a man got talking to Kris and, as they made small talk, the guy just started crying. The Lord gave Kris a word of knowledge about murder and it ended up that the man’s wife had been murdered. Kris was able to pray with him to be set free and to experience the love of God.
