Springing Ahead: I've Already Started.

I fell asleep almost immediately, and had this dream:

I was in a church, attending a service.

The church was very strange, though. It was a composite of many different ones that I’ve been to.

The sanctuary looked like the one in Philadelphia Church just up the street from Loyal Heights Playground in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, but in the dream I had the impression that it was the sanctuary of a particular church just south of SeaTac airport.

The sanctuary furniture was a mix of things from many churches I’ve attended over the course of several decades. The pews were from another church a mainline denomination one, where SeaTac Worship Center had rented space in the evenings.

There were people in every pew. The church was filled, but not full. In almost every pew, there were empty spaces big enough to seat 2-4 people together.

Every one was seated, the service was just ending, and the Minister had just finished...

As people began to stand and look around, I had an awkward feeling much like you get when you’re in a room full of people whose faces are familiar, but whom you don’t really know…a feeling of having to interact with people but not really knowing what to say.

Then things changed very quickly, as if I had blinked, or turned my head away for a moment and things were different when I looked back again. I was still in the same room, but now it was filled – crowded, in fact. The aisle was filled with people, some standing, some sitting.

Instead of being socially distant, everyone was interacting. Some were conversing with others, some teaching or explaining something to another, some praying with another, some laying hands on another.

The aisle, empty before was now crowded folks standing in it. There were many sitting or lying on the floor as well, overwhelmed by Holy Spirit.

AS I looked around the room, a saw a number of dead apostles I was familiar with – James Berkley whose ministry had largely emphasized God turning the hearts of the fathers to their children and children to their fathers, Elvin Gadney, and Harlan and Granville Graham. As I looked at each of these people, I thought, “There So and So. Look, there’s Such and Such,” recognizing each man by name.

But the faces didn’t match the names. In every case, it was a different person identified by the apostle’s name and familiarity, even though every one of them was a least a generation younger, and some two generations younger. These were the men and women who had been impacted or equipped by those apostles.

Someone began to sing, and without any worship team, the room filled with adoration to the King. Those ministering to others didn’t stop when the worship started, but continued what they were doing. Everyone in room was made (or was being made) whole.

As soon as I woke up, I wrote down the dream, and asked what it meant. Some of what it means we’ve heard before, a lot. So much so that at first I questioned whether I was really hearing God or the trite echo of “the day of the one man ministry is over and I’m about to do a new thing” that we’ve heard so often (both from true prophets and form some who are fairly convincing copies).

Having made certain I’m hearing what I was, her it is.

It’s not at all about what God’s about to do. It’s about what he’s already doing.

The time for the man up front to be the primary minister is finished. The Lords says, “What I’m doing isn’t in the church walls, the time for one man to be recognized as the primary minister is finished, and I am giving visions to the ones who have been overlooked, and strategies to the discounted ones.”

I will build strong relationships and lifelong friendships between members of my Body who have been strangers. I will give visions to the ones who were called blind and strategies to the ones called foolish. I will release inside of you my heart for people so broadly and so deeply that you will be called Those Who Love Their Brothers by those who don’t know me.

You are called the Ones Who Love by those who haven’t met me yet, because you are loving them even when it is costly to you. You are growing more and more day by day and week by week in love, wisdom, and power to make the broken whole.

Already when you are walking in the way, you stop to heal, to liberate to bind up and to loose.

the day will come suddenly when those going from one place to another will have to be careful where they step, because the way if filled people standing in me, sitting with me, and resting in me.

Multitudes of bound ones have been set free and a vast people who will know their Father continue be liberated and will bring wholeness and peace form the Sunshine Coast to the Siskyou and from the Olympic Coast to the Rockies.

Don’t weep for the ones I sent out who have died where you are and live where I am. Look, and see them in those they’ve birthed, those they’ve equipped, and those they’ve trained. You’ll see their hands multiplied in the children of their love for my Bride and I, and those sons and daughters will do more, and more freely than the fathers ever dreamed of doing.

Spontaneous worship in streets and squares.

Sudden invasions of freedom in stores and parks.

Floods of healing on every corner and under every tree.

A plain illustration of the love of the Father spread abroad in the hearts of men, bringing peace and wholeness.

Many will be confused and don’t recognize what I’m doing and some of them will seem intimidating to you. But don’t be afraid to demonstrate my love. It is more extravagant and reaches much farther than many know.

Didn’t I tell you it would be something you haven’t seen before? Don’t be surprised if it is seems strange! Why are you amazed when I told you it was new, and not like what you have seen before?

But you will see me do more than you could ever ask, think, or imagine. I’ve already started!

Don’t hesitate.

Don’t hold back.

Don’t wait.

Run to the lonely.

Bind the broken.

Love the ugly.

The false little wind is stopping.

A great Wind has begun to blow,

pushing the sea before it!

The Marriage of the Visible and Invisible

Editor's Note: This is not your normal "Release this prophetic word to the world" kind of post. Michael Danforth is a prophet in Yakima, WA, and this was part of his monthly newsletter for the end of 2013. Michael is a reliable Northwest prophetic voice, and the word has been judged profitable, if unfamiliar in its presentation.  

I felt compelled to write to you about a few of the outrageous transitions that are going on in the spirit and how they will impact the years to come.

I have always seen faith as point of entry. It’s the doorway into the supernatural and the unseen world of the spirit. Once we step through these spiritual doors by faith, from that moment on, we should expect to see the invisible with our own eyes. Many have asked, "What do you believe will be one of the most significant revelations in 2014?" Without hesitation, I have said, "The marriage of the visible and invisible." In other words, what is visible will be seen in a different light and what is invisible will become just as apparent as what is already visible.”

  

Before I go on, let’s settle the issue that I am not your normal everyday prophet. To many, I come across as being a little less sociable and a bit dysfunctional. If my mother were present today, she would be the first to say, “Michael was always a bit withdrawn and had a tendency to view the world around him with extreme imagination.” Of course, none of us knew then, that even as a child, I was seeing the world from a prophetic perspective. The world I engage in has always been very different from the visible world around us. I know many of you could attest the same.

Like some of you, in my youth, my spiritual understanding and sight was not nurtured like it could have been. Therefore, it took me a while to realize that what I was seeing was not just some wild figment of my imagination, but invisible realms of God’s kingdom.

I have a confession to make. During the last number of years, I have been slow to become fully transparent about what I have believed to be the intended outcome of God’s intentions for humanity. Much of my concealment was because many already viewed me as being unreasonable and less practical when it came to spiritual things.

I sadly confess, as a result, though I have carried the appearance of being a spiritual forerunner, I found myself dialing down the extreme radical nature of the kingdom of heaven within me. Looking back, I can clearly see how I let the fear of man restrain me from exhibiting the expectations of Father on the earth.  Nonetheless, that was then and this is now. 

Let me encourage those of you who have felt somewhat restrained because of the peculiarity of the Spirit of God working in you. The box of confinement is ultimately being destroyed for the purpose of manifesting whatever revelation of heaven that has been in you since the beginning of time.

Let there be doubt, God is piloting His people completely off the known charts of spiritual flight. I believe one of the reasons this nation and other nations in the world are in the condition they are in, is because many people in the kingdom of God have allowed the fear of man to hinder the revelation of heaven in them. Again, I am an example of those who have appeared spiritually radical, but have exhibited far less than a 100-fold potential. Therefore, the power of acceleration is upon me and is readily available to anyone who has a desire to make up for some lost time.

There is one important thing to remember about forerunners, whether it relates to spiritual things or natural things. Most want to participate in the eventual fruit of their labors; however, most are unwilling to be identified with the stigma and ridicule that is often a part of their journey to get there.

For a number of years now, I have referred to a spiritual gathering of the saints that would redefine what it means to see eye to eye. Many have interpreted an “eye to eye” encounter as people on earth coming together viewing each other on the same spiritual plane. While this sounds reasonable enough, the fact is, there will always be those who will be willing to lay everything on the line for the sake of the Kingdom, while others will not. In this respect, many will continue to have difficulty seeing eye-to-eye.

Nonetheless, spiritual maturity is indeed on the rise and those who appeared to be living beneath their relational potential in the Father, are now approaching a new definition of what it means to not only have a face-to-face encounter with Jesus, but with all the saints of God.

Having an eye-to-eye encounter with the saints of God reaches far beyond any earthly meeting where everyone seems to be on the same page. Even before Christ, there has been a continual invitation to interact with the saints of God, in heaven and on earth, simultaneously.

A time is coming when the people of God on earth will no longer refer to those who have come and gone, and whose permanent dwelling is now in heaven, as being dead. Nor will they view them in the past tense. Every day, there are countless people who are exiting this earthly realm and entering into the heavenly realm, thus heaven is now their final dwelling place.  However, there are also those who are ascending and descending from earth to heaven, yet earth is still their primary dwelling place.

As I have mentioned in earlier writings, this Kingdom ascending and descending has widened the eternal gate of glory between heaven and earth. This means that the appearing of those in heaven on earth will become more frequent. It also means that those on earth will frequent heaven far more readily as well. .

The body of Christ has broken a barrier of understanding of what it means for God to be the “God of the living, not the dead.”

Mark quotes Jesus as saying,

“But regarding the fact that the dead rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken.” (Mark 12:26-27)

Jesus is making it very clear that when God spoke to Moses and said, “I am the God of…” it meant that God was still the God of those who had once lived on the earth, but are now living in heaven. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are still very much alive, even more so.  Thus the words of Jesus when He said, ‘you are completely mistaken if you think I am the God of dead corpses.’

All the saints in Old and New Testament times, as well as, anyone else in God who has gone before us, are very much alive. The primary difference is that they are a living revelation that their true citizenship is in heaven, not on earth. I have long been aware that not only do angels gather with us when we come together, but even the saints of God who once walked upon the earth.

While this might sound eerie and spooky to some, for others it is a glorious expectant reality. If we are serious about hanging on to the doctrine of repentance, then we should be repenting for excluding the rest of the church, the body of Christ that is still very much alive in heaven.

For years, I have nurtured my sight, my spiritual senses, to see thousands come together and participate, in the spirit, during our public gatherings. This will soon become an eventual visible manifestation. Like Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses, Elijah and countless others, will begin to appear in plain sight. Jesus was extremely sincere when He said, “Greater things than these, you will do.”

A good friend of mine, who has entertained angels for years, told me that before he saw his first angel with his own eyes, he started acting as though they were with him all the time. He would talk to them and refer to them continually. He even went as far as making sandwiches for them during various lunch times. Sound ridiculous? Of course it does. However, on one occasion, while he was in the kitchen preparing lunch for himself and his invisible friends, he heard a giggling sound coming from the other room. When he went to investigate, he saw three angels setting in his living room. When he saw them, they looked just as shocked that he could see them as he was. I forgot to ask if he made enough sandwiches. 

For me, one of the most troublesome things about our western Christian culture is that we have a desire to go far, but not too far, certainly not far enough. This is why "forerunners" are so necessary in the kingdom of God. One of their primary purposes is to venture out into the depths of the Spirit, beyond our current state of spiritual understanding and reveal the hidden knowledge of the Spirit.

Theory is a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something. Theology is the study of religious faith, practice, and experience. Either theory or theology alone is sufficient to transform one’s mind into the mind of Christ, thus our eternal state. Like faith, they are a point of entry, one of which is designed to lead us into a genuine encounter with the Spirit of the Lord. The future will be filled with a generation that will break the barriers of theoretic and theological understanding. Their revelation will include both knowledge and experience.

Isaiah writes,

“…For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord

as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)

Hosea writes,

“So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord…” (Hosea 6:3)

True knowledge includes the act of knowing, hearing and seeing. In fact, it involves all of our senses. Its intent reaches far beyond mental knowledge about someone or something. In these passages of scripture, the Hebrew meaning of “knowledge” is to know God in the sense of personal experience, not just literal understanding. It means to experience the ways of God, to know His paths and to know His heart.

In the near future, the earth will quake and the heavens will shake because of another increasing heavenly invasion. An unusual terror is about to hit the earth in ways unimaginable. Not terror in the sense of chaotic horror, but terror in the sense of the raw glory of the Lord becoming so visible that many will be terrorized by the brilliance of His appearing.

2012 Harvest and the Fullness of Time

Like the sons of Issachar, we are to recognize the times and seasons of God. There are numerous prophetic affirmations indicating that we are entering a "fullness of time" season in 2012, where we will experience resurrection power and the beginning of the great end-time harvest.

Just like the children of Israel, who received a promise of entering the land of milk and honey, we are once again at a "Kadesh Barnea" time in history. At Kadesh Barnea, the Israelites who had been delivered from Egypt, had a decision to make.

Twelve spies from each tribe had come back with a report about the land they were told to possess. Ten spies gave a negative report about the giants in the land and spread fear. Two spies, Joshua and Caleb, gave a good report about the fruit that was in the land and exhorted their generation that they were well able to possess their promise.

Although that generation was given the promise of possessing the land, they did not obtain the promise because of their unbelief and disobedience. They grumbled and complained and God said "I will do to you the very thing I heard you say." (Numbers 14:28).

That generation died in the wilderness and the promise passed down to the next generation. Only Joshua and Caleb from the previous generation were allowed to enter the promised land because they had a different spirit and a different confession.

We must understand the ways of God. It is through faith and perseverance that we will receive our promises, "...do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises." (Hebrews 6:12)

Not only must we steward our promises, but we must obey the conditions given for them to be fulfilled, "And when the LORD sent you out from Kadesh Barnea, he said, 'Go up and take possession of the land I have given you.' But you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You did not trust Him or obey Him" (Deuteronomy 9:23).

Visitations from Bob Jones

In 2002, Bob Jones had a visitation from a heavenly messenger. The messenger conveyed to Bob that the condition for seeing creative miracles was Psalm 133. Unity was much more important to the Lord than we understood.

The messenger pointed out that ambition among Believers opens the door for suspicion; suspicion brings competition; and competition breeds division. When these are present, it will motivate leaders to discredit or undermine those they feel threatened by. It will actually disqualify some and cannot exist in the heart of the generation that God entrusts spiritual power and true authority to.

Bob Jones has made numerous trips to the Northwest. Every time he comes, he brings a word about the importance of bridling the tongue. About 20 years ago, while ministering in Spokane, WA, he gave a prophetic promise with a condition. He prophesied that if we wanted to experience the miracles they had in the latter rain healing revival, we needed to obey Psalm 15. That Scripture exhorts us not to cast a slur on our fellow man.

In 1998, Bob saw an orange pickup truck from the 1950s that was broken down. It represented the latter rain healing revival that took place during that decade. He was told that we could "pick up" where they left off. The latter rain revival was cut short because of character issues, including greed, competition, immorality, and pride. America turned down her season of opportunity, much like Jerusalem did and missed her day of visitation (Luke 19:41-44).

In Isaiah 58, it says that if we do away with the pointing of the finger and malicious talk, our light will surely come (verses 9-10).

The choice is ours. We can choose to believe the promises of God, repent of gossip and slander and choose to love one another, and experience revival and creative miracles; or we can continue to grumble and complain about each other, and how bad things are, and die in the wilderness.

2012 Harvest

Recently, I had the honor of interviewing Bob Jones in his home in Charlotte, NC. We talked about his death experience in 1975, where the Lord sent him back to witness the beginning of a billion soul harvest. He believes that the harvest will begin in 2012 and we will see resurrection power and creative miracles.

The generation Bob saw in the "Sands of Time" vision have reached the age of maturity this year. He saw an army arising (those born in 1981 and after) that would be characterized by compassion and holiness. He was told that when they reached the age of maturity, no gift would be denied them and no disease known to man would stand before them. They would have no fear of the enemy. They would have the Spirit without measure.

There will be some born before 1981, with a spirit like Joshua and Caleb, who will also experience these promises. They will be leaders in this next move of God and will gladly lay their lives down in love for the next generation.

Numbers 32:11-13, "Because they have not followed Me wholeheartedly, not one of those who were twenty years old or more when they came up out of Egypt will see the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob– not one except Caleb and Joshua, for they followed the LORD wholeheartedly."

We have come to the Kingdom for such a TIME as this. Let's possess our promises in this "fullness of time" season.

Smith Wigglesworth's (1947) prophecy concerning the coming move of the Holy Spirit.

Comment: This is not Pacific Northwest-centric, but it speaks to issues that we are in the midst of right now. 

We appear to be in the midst of the second movement now. Per this prophecy, the next step is “the Word and the Spirit [coming] together.” We are seeing this beginning in the Northwest.  

TWO DISTINCT MOVES

During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say ‘This is the great revival’. But the Lord says ‘No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.

WORD AND SPIRIT

When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit. When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.

I believe that the desire of God is for many to receive not only the Holy Spirit but obey all the truths within His word. This includes not only the gifts of the Apostles but their teachings of One Lord (Jesus alone is Lord of all things according to Acts 10:36), One faith (The faith delivered once unto the early saints of God as Jude wrote for all to earnestly contend for), and One baptism (the name of Jesus is the only way to God whereby we must be saved by and to be used in all things - see John 14:6; Acts 4:12;Colossians 3:17). When the Apostles were of One mind and accord then the world began to change as the Holy Spirit moved. One day men will walk away from the traditions of men. Then they will agree upon the Oneness of God as being unified in the same spirit and baptism. God is moving to bring all things to a promised and expected conclusion. Wait upon the Lord and He shall renew your strength. I believe this is His message for His church.

A Time is Coming to the Pacific Northwest

A time is coming when the future will intersect with the now, and God will answer the prayers of the mother-protectors—the leaders and intercessors—of His Church.  These are the ones who have faithfully prayed for God’s coming harvest.  These are the ones who have been praying for the removal of the divisions and demonic strongholds within the churches that have greatly slowed the release of Gods power. These are the ones who have been praying for God “to separate what was holy from what was common” (Ezekiel 42:20).

A time is coming when God Himself will gather these men and women in a place of unity.  A place of overcoming where the mountains that have previously blocked God’s plans will be turned into a source of blessings.  A place of overcoming where the mountains that had—past tense—blocked the plans of God’s Kingdom, will be turned into watchtowers to overlook the plans of the enemy. A place where the cascades of the Holy Spirit will heal the divisions between the churches.

Then the heart of God’s people will be judged, but judged with fairness and love.  Each person will be evaluated based on what they have done—how they have walked with God.  All who have done well will be rewarded.  Many will find they have produced rare and unique fruit.  Good fruit, and of such an abundance that there will be enough to bring many into God’s Kingdom.

When this happens, God will open up His book of Wisdom and History-of-the-future.  (This is God’s history of the future, and our God is an awesome, glorious, victorious God!)  God himself will provide the strategy we need to cleanse the church.  God’s light will shine on the windows of opportunity we need to act on.  No longer will we walk in darkness. 

God, the divine authority, will redeem His house and establish Godly unity and Godly government (perfected government) within His household.  Then God will connect His Church to His Power, His River of Life.  No longer will man-made structures block the flow of God’s Power and Love.  God will pour out great blessing and power to those who work in His harvest fields.

To do this, God is looking for a people who can wholeheartedly repeat the following pledge.  (This is a God-version of the 4-H pledge.)

I pledge my HEAD to better thinking, taking on the mind of Christ (under the headship of God).  My HEART to greater loyalty, to the people and Kingdom of God.  My HANDS to larger service, so all can see Jesus in Me.  So that I may bring HEALING to my church, my community, my country, and my world.

One pattern of unity God will use in this time will be that demonstrated by the International Association of Healing Rooms.  A pattern of unity where a passion for God and a love of God is more important than what denomination a person is part of.  A unity that believes in and releases God’s supernatural Power to the world.

A number of people in the Pacific Northwest who are already part of the Healing Room ministries will find themselves called to this greater unity. Other people will find themselves called as well.  Anyone who wants to align his or her heart with the heart of God is welcome.  Anyone who is willing to humble themselves and submit to God’s authority will see the light of God shine throughout their community—spreading to their country and to the entire world!

When this happens, God will take the Columbia Basin—a Bowl “cut without human hands”—and fill it to overflowing with His Power and His Glory.  (The phrase “cut without human hands” comes from Daniel 2:45.)  Then we will truly begin to celebrate the final harvest.

The Coming Tidal Wave

THE TIDAL WAVE IS COMING
A tidal wave of God’s kingdom is about to crash on the shore of planet Earth as God is about to release a manifestation of Himself. A fresh, never seen before manifestation of God is going to break all barriers of men’s religious teachings and structure. 

God is about to do outside the system of men’s structure and doctrine what these could never contain. This wave is going to destroy many works of the flesh that have masqueraded as God’s work. This Kingdom release is a healing and destroying wave that is intended to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free, while at the same time passing judgment on dead works; showing they are not of God. 

THIS RELEASE COMES FROM THE COMMUNION (COMMON UNION) OF THE CORPORATE BRIDE AND HER GROOM
The release of this wave is a result of those who have learned to walk in UNION with the heart and purposes of God. Not just obeying Him, but coming into agreement with God and His judgments and heart. COMPLETE Unity with God is our destination in the kingdom. In this new day of the kingdom advancement we will see more and more the union of God with His sons as He purges the earth of its rebellion and pride. As a groom consummates his love for his bride, so the Lord is consummating a oneness with His sons, who have begun to express the very likeness and essence of God’s nature and authority on the earth. 

THIS “COMMON UNION” RELEASES GLORY
Communion, community, common unity: these terms describe what those who are being led by the Spirit have in common; unity in the Spirit. The Bride of Christ/the New Jerusalem is in complete agreement and unity concerning the passion and purpose of God’s heart toward creation. This communion (common union) is not based upon a church affiliation or leader, or even location. It is based upon: “…the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

The Glory of God is being released in those who have the common unity of being led by the Holy Spirit. When those who walk with God in union enter fellowship, worship, and mutually encourage on another, you will see an even Greater Glory. This is an outpouring THROUGH those who have “Gathered outside the camp unto Him”. Each one has first individually learned to walk in union with God, and then in communion with their brother.

This unity is NOT found in a church congregations gathered in unity around a “common” doctrine, church structure, or a gifted leader. This is NOT what God is doing in this hour, and it does not have fullness of release. Where there is mixture there is hindrance to the will of God.

THE WAVE IS THE RESULT OF GOD COMNG TO HIS TEMPLE TO DWELL…and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 

He is fitting together a temple made of living stones that is at this present time scattered and coming out of wilderness trials and purification. But they are coming together in this time of earth’s upheaval and turbulence as a wave of refreshing to the earth. God is dwelling in His glory in these, and their common union is that they are partakers of His Spirit and nature. They have learned to be at rest with God IN them and they IN Him. They have learned submission and accountability to God, and have come to maturity that is seen in obedience out of love. 

COMMUNION IN COVENANT
There is coming a power and glory pouring forth from those walking in the “common unity” of the Spirit as a result of the One Covenant of The Blood of Jesus. Truly this is the Wedding Covenant of Union with Christ. If you are led by the Spirit, you are His son, and are already in a COMPLETED covenant of unity with everyone else on heaven and earth who is one with God. Mindsets are about to change drastically. 

In the One Covenant of “Common union” with God and each other, power will be released so mightily that many people will move beyond their old alliances and allegiances to their own church “communities”, leaders, and organizations. The communion of the saints will be seen in the broader sense in its reality; as what God has deemed in “union” with Him is blessed, and that which is not in union with Him will not endure. You will know those in union with Him by His Heart, His presence, and His power expressed in those He chooses to glorify; for we are the Glory He now chooses to clothe Himself in. He is the Glory we are clothed in.

The Great Turning - Get Ready for an Explosion of Glory in 2009 in Miracles of Restoration

You would have thought seven years of war was enough. I know I did. But the glory of God is increasing with greater frequency and bigger waves. So it stands to reason that, according to Isaiah 60, as the light of His glory is arising, so is the darkness. But this is becoming the Church's finest hour in spite of outward circumstances and conditions. We are entering into the blessings of the Kingdom of Heaven more and more.

I was surprised by what the Lord impressed upon my heart for 2009. When we came to the annual ElijahList conference, "What is God Saying for 2009?" I actually had little initially that God had spoken to me for the year. But it was an amazing weekend filled with revelation and hope. Jesus has been working on me for some time to change my paradigm.

I have believed, like many others, that there is a reformation coming to the Body of Christ that will propel us into Christlikeness and a release of the fullness of His redemptive power, but I never thought it would be so fundamental and so deep. Here is what I believe is happening to us and how we should cooperate to see it hastened.

"The Key to Revival is the Restoration of Family"

I heard the Lord say, "The key to revival is the restoration of family." I will never forget coming down a hill into a poor neighborhood outside of Sao Paulo, Brazil. There were families, individuals all over the streets making drug deals, drunks, kids, and general mayhem, but the compassion of the Lord fell on me when I heard Him speak those words to me.

That word has exploded inside of me to mean the fullness of restoration of humanity on every level. When introduced with our team from the School of the Supernatural that Wesley and Stacey Campbell put on with Kelry Green, the only thing I could think of to say was, "God wants to restore your families."

The people cheered, and soon all Heaven came down. We saw healing fall on a woman with HIV, blindness and devils come out as the love of God moved in the people we came to minister to. America needs this kind of revival just as much. We need a national awakening of the love and power of God to hit our families, communities and nation on every level.

It Must Start With the Church

Useless religious fervor, tradition and thinking must fall by the wayside and be replaced with radical love and grace that flows from the foot of the Cross of Christ. Until we realize that we are in need of redemption and begin to build cultures of grace and love in our Christian families and churches, we cannot hope to bring freedom to the masses needing to get a revelation of Jesus' redemptive power.

It's time for a new wineskin. I don't mean just new structures and networks but a covering that can contain a new level of love and grace that will embrace the broken of the broken—in and out of the Church.

God's Covenant Will Meet More than Just Our Needs

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a covenant-making God. God made a covenant with Abraham to bless him so much that all the nations of the earth would be blessed through his seed. Jesus made a covenant with all who put their trust in Him and follow Him into a new life in the Spirit that surpasses anything humanity has ever been offered. He will never leave or forsake us.

The love and grace that saved us can bless us so much that we have more than enough to bless others in the same way. No matter what happens in this present world or in our personal lives, we are blessed and made to be a blessing.

This year is a time to discover how to move into covenant blessing and see miracles of redemption more than ever before. Let it start with our nuclear families and spill over into our communities of faith and into the world. Need is temporary, but God's blessings are eternal. Don't settle for getting your needs met, reach for His covenant blessings.

God Wants to Birth a New Culture and Mindset in the Church This Year

In December of 2008, I saw in a vision a baby in breach position in the womb. God wants to birth a new culture and mindset in the Church this year that will release His love and compassion at a new level. Therefore it is a time to seek His face and let Him turn our hearts so He can bring to birth an awakening of His love and redemptive power in the world.

During the ElijahList conference "What is God Saying for 2009?" I saw this vision again, but the baby turned in the right position. I take this to mean that God is giving great grace to turn things the right direction in the Church so we can display His love, His power, and His glory to the nation.

Our wineskin must be more flexible, forgiving, loving, and accepting if we are to be as Jesus is in this present world. Dead religion still looks for a legal remedy for life's problems. But the Kingdom of the Son of His love looks for a redemptive solution. A great turning is coming to us. Let's pray—even travail—till it's birthed.

Unity Will Come from the Joining of Generations

I believe the unity we have been longing for in the Body of Christ will come from the joining of generations. The younger generation is not that impressed or concerned with doctrinal distinctions. In fact, they are looking for fathers and mothers—not just denominational structures—to bring stability and security to their lives.

This is exactly where we need to be - to begin to focus on being sons and daughters of God instead of ministers with a title. It's not wrong to identify that one is an apostle, prophet, etc, but what we really need is community and a loving family of people who understand and live in covenant love.

The Holy Spirit is turning hearts and restoring the main and plain to take us to a level of the manifestation of the Kingdom far beyond what we have ever seen just through faith in our faith. We are about to encounter the Father. And when we do, like sons of God and sons of man, we will see the glory of God manifest in signs and wonders more than what we have ever fasted and prayed for.

The love Jesus spoke about in John 17 will release a glory that makes the impossible possible and will draw people to Jesus who would never have considered Him before. We will suddenly begin to love each other in the Body of Christ and wonder how it could be after all of our vain efforts to tolerate each other.

Get ready for an explosion of glory in 2009 in miracles of restoration.

Revolve to Resolve

During Spring, 2009, I began to hear the word “resolve.” As I prayed into this, I began to notice patterns in various people of unresolved issues resurfacing as an old cycle. I approached the Lord about 2008 having been a year for leaping forward. February and March 2008 were months for God’s people to leap forward into their seasons. Many were walking out of the season of the Lord and straggling behind. In 2008, the Lord presented a divine chairos moment for stragglers in the Body of Christ to leap forward and into the current season of God. Prophetic acts were made and scriptures declared in prayer gatherings in many church gatherings. By faith, God’s people took a leap forward. Seemingly, many brothers and sisters continued in frustration during the remainder of 2008 and well into 2009.

As the word “resolve” stirred in me, I connected the matter of “old cycles.” Many anointed prophets and teachers have taught and prophesied regarding “old cycles” and the need for those “old cycles” to be broken over the last couple of years. This is no new revelation in many apostolic and prophetic streams. The Lord began to tell me:

The advancement of My Kingdom hinges on the ambassadors I have placed in this world. I have equipped you, empowered you, commissioned you and anointed you with My authority and power. The idea of advancing My Kingdom is understood. The revelation of it is undiscovered and not understood by many in the realm of their own lives. Before My Kingdom can be advanced in the world, My Kingdom must be advanced in your own life. My Kingdom must advance in your minds. I will not shift their paradigms, I will not change your mind, My people must change their minds.

“Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace...” (Ephesians 4:3). While this passage speaks to unity in the Body, its truth applies to the central core of each believer. Where there is no bond of peace, there is no unity of the Spirit. Where there is no unity of the Spirit, there is often a fractured condition of the believer. Thus, the believer has not resolved an issue or old cycle in their life. Their struggle around the same mountain or sins continues. This struggle continues to prevail simply because we have not done the first thing in Ephesians 4:3, “Being diligent to preserve…” the things stated, unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Jesus said the peacemakers are blessed in Matthew 5:9. It is easy for many “warrior” minded believers to conceive being a “peacemaker” in the world. That Jesus did not come into the world to bring peace, but a sword (Matthew 10:34). Understanding Jesus definition of “sword” is the Word of God is common knowledge in the Body of Christ. The Lord told me:

My Church is ready to take the sword to the world but fail to take the sword to their own flesh. My peace always follows my sword. My people would rather that peace precede My sword. I say, as surely as you take My sword to your flesh, to your old cycles, to your old habits, surely the peace I give will follow. The process of being a peacemaker will always involve the violence and confrontation of judging yourself. Resolve to bring your old cycles under the judgment of My sword through your repentance. Apply My sword and bring your flesh to a place of death. Sever your flesh from the throne of your life, that I may be the sole ruler in the throne of your life. I will not share the throne with any idol, nor with your old cycles that rule powerfully in your soul.

In Romans 12:18, Paul exhorts us, “if possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.” Many in the church understand the importance of being at peace with those around us. With family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, etc. What is not always easily grasped is the need for God’s ambassadors, His representatives on this earth, His prophetic vessels, to be at peace with themselves. We include ourselves in “…being at peace with all men.” Many are not.

This is the place where many in the Body of Christ are continuously in a holding pattern. Understanding a holding pattern is easily understood when we think of an airline on a runway waiting for clearance to take off. Holding patterns are places where many believers find their greatest experiences of frustration. These “holding patterns” are not always the will of God, but are self-inflicted “holding patterns.” Rather than painfully judging one’s self, they push it off on “the Lord’s doing something in my life” or the “dealings of the Lord.” Since 2008, the timing for the next season may be now. We “revolve” or continuously circle around our mountains or “sins” and call it a “desert season.” However, like the Israelites, the Lord will allow our revolving around our mountain until we resolve our mountain.

One Saturday afternoon, my wife and daughter were in the backyard when they noticed a beautiful bald eagle being harassed by several crows. They reported that the crows were essentially chasing the bald eagle away. I heard the commotion but did not see the event. Out of wanting to see this event personally, I asked the Lord to show that to me because I believed the Lord was saying something through this.

A week later, my daughter and I were at my son’s track meet when we heard a loud commotion in the sky. We looked up and noticed a half dozen or so crows chasing off a bald eagle. The Lord was answering my prayer. Frankly, the crows looked like tiny birds compared to the bald eagle. At that moment, the Lord confirmed to me what I believed I was understanding about that scene:

My prophetic voices in the earth are like the great bald eagle. I have empowered them with strength in their wings to ascend to the highest places in Me. Their wings are designed to reside in My highest realms. The power they carry within them is so sufficient, so extraordinary, the patterns of this world and the kingdom of darkness is merely like harassing crows. At any moment the bald eagle could turn around and drive off or destroy the assignments of the crows. What My people have yet to resolve is themselves in Me.

My people will flee like the bald eagle, rather than stand strong in Me. It is easier for them to revolve their old cycle than to resolve who I am and what I promised I would do. My people are faced with their finest hour. My glory stands at the door for those who choose to resolve Me in their lives, who choose to resolve my Word in their hearts and who resolve that which I have spoken through My prophets. Arise My people, your finest hour is here. You must resolve Me in your heart, and you must dissolve your flesh and your carnality in Me.

Let all of God’s people, Arise! for He is a rising God. Don’t focus on the enemy who may come in like a flood. Your God promises He will raise up a standard against him (Is. 59:19). When your God arises, He arises big! He arises powerfully! Gloriously! and always on time. He spoke the universe into existence and it continues to expand because He never ordered it to stop. When your Lord commands you to arise, you are never to stop arising because He never commanded you to stop. NOW ARISE!!

A New Sound for the Youth of this Nation

Prophesied August 9, 2008 - Lancaster, California:

The Spirit of the Lord says, “There’s a higher place for each one of you. I’ve been waiting for you to come. I’ve been calling for you to come. The powers of hell are afraid of the higher place. Sickness and doubt don’t belong in the higher place. Division, discord, they don’t belong in the higher place.”

The Spirit of God says, “I’m bringing a new sound to the youth of this nation. I’m bringing a new sound to the young women of this nation. I’m bringing a new sound to the children. I’m bringing a new sound, the sound of David, the sound of Esther, the sound of Daniel, the sound of Ruth, Deborah, the sound of Jeremiah. I’m bringing a new sound upon this nation, I will break the mold. I will interrupt the programs.

“I will collapse the system. My prophets will prophesy. They are playing games. The spoil has been left to the wrong hands. They are playing games. Saul, why do you play a game? Eli, you’re playing a game. The priests aren’t holy. Prophets arise. There is a new sound coming to the youth of this nation. I will collapse the system. I will destroy the habitual transgressors of liberty. I will destroy the habitual transgressors of liberty who bring bondage and law. I will arise. There is a sword in My hand. You are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses.”

We have obtained a holy faith, and this generation - they’re waiting for the sound - the sound of David, the sound of Daniel. They are waiting for you and me. We have obtained a holy faith. We have obtained a holy faith for America. We have obtained a witness. Now we stand, for they are waiting for the sound of David and Daniel, Ruth and Esther, and we have obtained a holy faith. We will give to them the sound of life.

The Spirit of the Lord is prophesying to us now that a generation is about to arise in this country: young men, young ladies, children, white, yellow, black. They, they, they will arise, break down the system. They are not tainted by the wickedness of an unholy priesthood. They will arise. They will praise Him. They will fight with the sword of the Lord, they will overcome for America.

Cities in America Will Be Purified

The Spirit of God says, “Even at this very moment as you pray, I’m going to bring upon this nation, as I promised before, a brand new mantle. Elijah has gone - 50 strong men went to look for him and could not find him. They cannot bring back the glory of yesterday. They cannot recapture the glory of the past revivals,” for God says, “I do not want to bring back. There stands in the midst of you and right in this nation the Spirit of Elijah, which speaks of a double portion. Do you want the 1940s or the 50s, 60s or 70s, or the 80s or the 90s? NO!”

The Spirit of God says, “Raise up your voice, for today I am casting a mantle upon this nation - a prophetic mantle that is going and has already started to move in schools; has already started to move in the media. I’m going to take your silver screen and fill it with the Golden Fire of the Spirit of the Living God.”

God said, “Hear Me tonight as the prophetic word comes forth. I am raising up a banner and this nation - I am casting a mantle, a brand new mantle upon you. You will not deal with individuals any more. You will stand at the source of supply of cities and turn the bitter water and cause it to be purified by putting salt into the waters of the cities of the United States of America.

“What do I speak of?” says the Lord. “Listen to Me, the waters of the cities of this nation are impure.” God says, “I’m sending My prophets to the source of the supply of the waters of the cities of this nation. There is no greater purifier than salt. My Word shall become the salt that I shall place in a new bowl. For I told Elisha to get a new bowl and place salt in it and pour it into the source of the water supply of the cities and the cities will be purified.

“I’m about to raise up, all over the nation, cities in America that will be purified and will bring forth and spring forth where great moves of My Spirit will take place. Miracles will be on every street corner and people will say, ‘Where did it come from?’ They will say, ‘Where do these miracles come from? Was it this crusade or that crusade?’ It shall come because of the prophetic restoration and the purifying of the source, going right to the source, right to the beginning.”

I Will Bring Back Prayer

“I will bring back prayer. I’m not saying there isn’t prayer. There’s more prayer in the schools of America now than there was when it was legal, but I’m going to bring about a few legal things and legalize. They will say, ‘We don’t mind the Ten Commandments if we can also, side by side, have the commandments of the Koran.’ It shall be a mockery, and as I proved to My great Israel when the Ark of the Covenant was placed next to Dagon, and the next morning Dagon had fallen flat on his face. This is what’s going to happen,” says the Lord.

“America and the system and the government shall try to compromise and they will place My Holy Ark, My Word, and they will place it side by side with other things and beliefs. So it is when you have freedom of religion.” God says, “The Ark of the Covenant is not a religion. The holiness and the Holy of Holies, My Christ, is not another religion. Therefore, it cannot fall, for My Christ and My Word will stand up next to whatever they put up. As Dagon fell, so shall it fall next to My commandments and next to My Word. This is My Word for this nation.

“They shall say, ‘Finally the Christians agree – finally they have agreed to a compromise.’” The Spirit of God says, “Not only My presence, the Ark of the Covenant brings cancers, boils and sores onto the people, but there was a plague and they began to realize the holiness of God cannot be placed next to something that is desecrated - that is brought down, to the Holy One of Israel. There will be an invasion of Islamic souls that will come in because they will see the proof and the evidence of the miraculous intervention of the Living God in this next great move.”

A Vision of Revival

In 1963, while I was ministering in a church in Klamath Falls, Oregon, God took me “into the Spirit” for two days. The Lord told me that if I would remain in the sanctuary and wait upon Him, He would show me things to come in His Church and the world when He poured out the fullness of His Spirit. As I waited there in prayer He took me into the heavenlies and let me see the revival that is coming.

Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Holy Spirit used the analogy of a hydroelectric power plant to explain to me what He was going to do. (I knew nothing about electricity; I couldn’t have fixed a light switch if my life depended upon it.) The Greek word for the power of the of the Holy Spirit is dunamis, from which we derive our word dynamo. The analogy of a hydroelectric power plant was a dramatic word picture to reveal the dunamis work of the Holy Spirit.

Above the Church, high in the heavenlies, I saw the excavation for the building of a huge hydroelectric power plant. God laid the solid concrete foundation carefully, measuring the sand that went into it exactly. He cleansed everything and placed every screen and tubule in order precisely as it should be. Then He erected the power plant section by section. I saw the pipes, the dam and all its massive gates; out from which He ran prime lines, primary lines and secondary lines through great transformers to many points of distribution. After that, He began to fill the reservoirs with water, teaching me that unless a certain level of water was maintained the high-powered dynamo could not function properly.

As I watched, I saw a church without walls.

An awesome divine power was flowing down through the pulpits, out to the people and then through them to the world. Above this power plant I saw Christ, Head of the Church, holding that gigantic power plant in His hands. At the same time, however, it seemed as though He were the One being poured through that power plant, down into the church and out to the world – a great harvest field, golden and ripe unto harvest.

Networking Churches

Somehow I understood that He was flowing His living water only to churches where deep wells and reservoirs had been dug. In the vision, I saw pipes being placed underground from one fountainhead to another – from church to church. The pipes formed a network of churches, connecting those with deep wells that He had dug and filled with His living water – the living Word.

I wished it was going to all churches, but I realized that many churches could not tap into this living water because they had no reservoir.

In 1963 there was little evidence of such networking of churches and ministers. Nevertheless, I understood that He was showing me a network of churches that had been dug out through which He would flow His great flood of truth. The “digging” would happen as pastors and believers obeyed God and allowed the dealings of God to work in their lives. By their yielded obedience to the Holy Spirit and His Word they would become reservoirs of truth. From these churches His power would flow throughout the all the world.

When a vast network of churches had been filled with living water, God would pull a great switch and open all the gates of truth that have been dammed up by man. I saw the release of stream after stream of truth that God wanted to flow freely in the church, but the truth had been dammed up by denominational walls erected by man.

Then in my spirit I heard the water – His Word – begin to run. Churches that had their reservoirs prepared began to fill up with water. They were ready for God to pull the switch and open the gates of truth from that great dynamo

At the time of the vision, my Father said to me, “I am running the pipes now. And this time when I pull that great power switch and release all the rivers of my living Word in their fullness, no demon, devil, man or denomination will ever dam it up again. I will do a quick work; I am going to bring the revival that will result in the ingathering of the great harvest of souls.”
