Tsunami of Love

I was walking along the beach right where the sand and ocean waves meet.  I had my eyes down searching the sand for treasure when all of the sudden sirens began to sound.  I knew it was a Tsunami siren and I looked up to see chaos all around me.

People were in a panic.  They were screaming, shouting, grabbing their items and running away from the ocean.  Not one person looked up from what they were doing to survey their surroundings.  Not one person offered to help anyone else.  It was each man, woman and child for themselves.

With all the pandemonium going on around me, I felt at peace. I turned away from all the chaos and people to face the ocean and looked heavenward and lifted my hands in the air. I began to pray and praise God. I was singing “More than anything Jesus, I just want you! ….”

I continued to stand, arms raised to the sky, singing. I looked out to the ocean and saw the Tsunami wave on the horizon.  I knew it was too late to try to run, and yet I didn’t feel the need to run. I felt compelled to stand my ground.  The peaceful feeling never left me as the huge wall of water several stories high came rushing right towards me.

Then I heard a whisper coming from heaven. It was hard to hear over the pandemonium unless you were intently listening for it. It said: “I am sending a Tsunami of My Love.”

Just as the skyscraper tall wave began to bend downwards towards me to crash against the beach, where I stood, I immediately sat up in bed gasping for air.

My heart was racing, and I realized, it was only a dream, yet it felt so real.  I could hear the roaring ocean, the siren alarm and people screaming.  The panic in the air was palpable.  I felt the misty ocean breeze on my face as the wind rushed by. Drops of water had been falling on me and I was fully drenched before the wave even hit the shore.

Once fully awaken from this dream and all else was silent and still, I heard the phrase again, “I am sending a Tsunami of My Love.”  It was louder this time and not just a whisper.

This dream encounter occurred back in April right after Easter.  I haven’t talked very much about it to anyone as I have sought the Lord regarding more of His message.

• Sometimes God gives us a glimpse of what is to come so we can pray over it and pray into it.

• Sometimes He shows us things so we can position ourselves to receive and not miss what He is doing.

• Sometimes He gives us advance notice so we can share it with others and we can prepare our hearts.

Cry for Revival

God’s people are crying for revival. We long to see Him come rushing in with His fire and power like revivals of old.  We long to see Him pour out His Spirit and have miracles, signs and wonders occur. We desire for people to come into the Kingdom of God and be born again.

Yet revival will not come until we get our hearts right with God and with one another.   We need to get our eyes off the natural and turn them heavenward.

We need to stop looking out for only ourselves and looking towards the needs of others.  We must not panic or become distracted when warning alarms are sounding around us.  We must resist joining in the chaos and pandemonium. Instead we need to trust and seek the voice of God and hear what He has to say.  We need to stand in our position as sons and daughters.  We need to position ourselves before the Lord so we can receive His love and release it to the world.

Jesus taught the greatest commandment was to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself.  (Matthew 22:36-40)

God is sending a tsunami of His love. It will begin in the west and spread across the nation.  It’s a love so powerful that we only have eyes for Him and His Kingdom.  We will set aside our agendas and our desires.  We will set aside our prejudices and get swept away by Him. As we stand in His presence, peace will flow.  As we position ourselves before the Lord, this wave will not destroy us, but we will be caught up and carried away in His love.

Yes, a revival is coming, a revival of His love. God’s love will transform us and the world around us.This revival of love is the first wave of revival.  We must stand our ground, stay at peace and listen.

A great harvest of souls for the Kingdom will follow.  But it must first start with individuals and our hearts.  Our hearts must be for the Kingdom of God and not against. Our hearts must be for unity and not division. Our hearts must be filled with love, His love.

A Tsunami of His Love is coming! Are you ready?

The Elijah Season

I was first introduced to the Pentecostal church environment during the early 1990’s. It was fun, vibrant, and exciting…you could feel God doing things and it was SO different than the church environment I grew up in. Finally, I thought I’ll find my destiny that God gave me when I was 7 years old.

During this decade and beyond it seems that everyone was a prophet…there are even lines in songs about it. This was ok as God’s abundance was splashing on everyone and besides Paul tells us that we should all prophecy – right?

Then one weekend I had three different leaders come up to me and call me a Prophet – to be honest I wasn’t sure what the heck they were talking about because Papa had shown me this was only one facet of what He had set in place for me…but what the heck and it was a great learning season for me…

But as many have noticed when He pours out there is a “correction” that almost immediately comes from the main stream denominations…some of it well deserved – but more of it was due to a power and control issue…can’t have anyone but the Pastor hearing from God you know…

So there has been a noticeable drop-off, a quiet almost in the prophetic. It hasn’t stopped for there are still those that God continues to speak through and they continue to share – but it’s been “different” for almost 12 – 15 years.

So yesterday afternoon Holy Spirit and I were chatting and I was reminiscing on some of the past times and He took me in a vision to the creek and cave Elijah was in following his battle with the priests of Ahab and his escape from Jezebel…it was a time in the land following a great demonstration of God’s power that the push-back from the leadership caused many to flee (sound familiar?)…

But it was also a season of great preparation for the coming power demonstration of God…

Then God shared with me:

“This Elijah Season that has been upon my prophets is ending and soon it will be like a volcano of truth of the Word of the Lord – as it flows forth with power and might and fire it will be like nothing ever seen or heard on this planet before…for the times of hiding are over and the times of preparation are over and the times of testing are over now the times of battle in the truth of my love have begun…and watch as MY LOVE moves MY Prophets as never before…

To the Northwest and Seattle

To the northwest and Seattle, I will pour out My Spirit upon this region! There is an open heaven presently in Seattle. I opened heaven because of my children crying out to me. I have answered you.

Heaven is open to bring revival! Heaven is open to touch my lost sheep. My heart cries to them. I am going after them because I want them with me! Listen My children.. pray for my lost! I will go after just the one!

I have many who are lost. I will send you out to them! I will use you to gather them and bring them into my church. They are broken and in need of saving! Out of zeal and love I will bring them in. I will give them My spirit and My love.

You shepherds: I will fill you with wisdom and authority to teach my lost ones. I will place new mantles on you! I will cause you to be steadfast and live by example. You will not waver in demonstrating caring out my purpose!

“Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. - Jeremiah 3:14-15

I'm gathering the laborers right now because the harvest will be full! I bringing them into the city! The world will rejoice because this open heaven will reach not just the city but across the earth. Look at revivals of the past! Remember My glory in them!

I will also revive my shepherds and laborers. Those of you tending my vineyards, my pastures, and my fields, will find rest for your souls!

I want you to know above all else, my love for you is jealous and hungry love. Ask me for my heart! Ask me to come into a courtship with you again. I desire this as much as you do! Remember me in everything you do. Sing to me where ever you are. Talk to me at all times. I'm listening. If you need to repent of a sin, confess it to me. I will cleanse you of your sin. I love you! Amen

Bonnie Jones’ word for the Pacific Northwest

May 2007:
This word came to Bonnie while she was in Seattle on May 13, 2007 (Mother’s Day) but it hasn’t been time to release it until now:

“My eyes are seeking out the Northwest Territory; seeking whom I may devour with My love, as well as My fiery. I’m uncapping old wells and releasing new minds. I’m glorious in this day,” Says God.

“Hear the angels roar. I’m coming in My Glory. Ready or not, here I come! My bride has been awakened with a holy kiss from My mouth. She has prepared her lamps to be filled with My Holy oil. Today I come with a blast of the trumpet and the sounding of cymbals. My voice radiates throughout the land. Who am I? I AM the King of Glory.”

May 31st – Memorial Day:

The Lord spoke to Bonnie about the four directions. This is exactly how it came to her:

“Emerging out of the west, comes a fiery sword. From the east, comes my tongue. From the north, my people run and take shelter. From the south comes the book of wisdom and understanding. Be not afraid for thou art with thee. I’m coming in the east,” says God “with miraculous power. I’m coming from the west in strength and demonstration. I’m coming from the south in memory of me and from the north, I AM.”

Seattle, That's My city.

She is beautiful. Yet, she lies under a tarnished past. I will make her shine like the sun.

She will begin to hear My voice above all others. As she begins to awaken, My voice will become stronger in her ear. All the other voices will try to become louder, but I will drown them out with my Love for her.

I have shown you what can happen when you come to me. Freedom. Love. Joy. Refreshment.. Provision. My Rest.

“Come to me all who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest for your soul”.

I will breathe new life into you. You will shine like the sun. Beautiful.

Springing Ahead: I've Already Started.

I fell asleep almost immediately, and had this dream:

I was in a church, attending a service.

The church was very strange, though. It was a composite of many different ones that I’ve been to.

The sanctuary looked like the one in Philadelphia Church just up the street from Loyal Heights Playground in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, but in the dream I had the impression that it was the sanctuary of a particular church just south of SeaTac airport.

The sanctuary furniture was a mix of things from many churches I’ve attended over the course of several decades. The pews were from another church a mainline denomination one, where SeaTac Worship Center had rented space in the evenings.

There were people in every pew. The church was filled, but not full. In almost every pew, there were empty spaces big enough to seat 2-4 people together.

Every one was seated, the service was just ending, and the Minister had just finished...

As people began to stand and look around, I had an awkward feeling much like you get when you’re in a room full of people whose faces are familiar, but whom you don’t really know…a feeling of having to interact with people but not really knowing what to say.

Then things changed very quickly, as if I had blinked, or turned my head away for a moment and things were different when I looked back again. I was still in the same room, but now it was filled – crowded, in fact. The aisle was filled with people, some standing, some sitting.

Instead of being socially distant, everyone was interacting. Some were conversing with others, some teaching or explaining something to another, some praying with another, some laying hands on another.

The aisle, empty before was now crowded folks standing in it. There were many sitting or lying on the floor as well, overwhelmed by Holy Spirit.

AS I looked around the room, a saw a number of dead apostles I was familiar with – James Berkley whose ministry had largely emphasized God turning the hearts of the fathers to their children and children to their fathers, Elvin Gadney, and Harlan and Granville Graham. As I looked at each of these people, I thought, “There So and So. Look, there’s Such and Such,” recognizing each man by name.

But the faces didn’t match the names. In every case, it was a different person identified by the apostle’s name and familiarity, even though every one of them was a least a generation younger, and some two generations younger. These were the men and women who had been impacted or equipped by those apostles.

Someone began to sing, and without any worship team, the room filled with adoration to the King. Those ministering to others didn’t stop when the worship started, but continued what they were doing. Everyone in room was made (or was being made) whole.

As soon as I woke up, I wrote down the dream, and asked what it meant. Some of what it means we’ve heard before, a lot. So much so that at first I questioned whether I was really hearing God or the trite echo of “the day of the one man ministry is over and I’m about to do a new thing” that we’ve heard so often (both from true prophets and form some who are fairly convincing copies).

Having made certain I’m hearing what I was, her it is.

It’s not at all about what God’s about to do. It’s about what he’s already doing.

The time for the man up front to be the primary minister is finished. The Lords says, “What I’m doing isn’t in the church walls, the time for one man to be recognized as the primary minister is finished, and I am giving visions to the ones who have been overlooked, and strategies to the discounted ones.”

I will build strong relationships and lifelong friendships between members of my Body who have been strangers. I will give visions to the ones who were called blind and strategies to the ones called foolish. I will release inside of you my heart for people so broadly and so deeply that you will be called Those Who Love Their Brothers by those who don’t know me.

You are called the Ones Who Love by those who haven’t met me yet, because you are loving them even when it is costly to you. You are growing more and more day by day and week by week in love, wisdom, and power to make the broken whole.

Already when you are walking in the way, you stop to heal, to liberate to bind up and to loose.
the day will come suddenly when those going from one place to another will have to be careful where they step, because the way if filled people standing in me, sitting with me, and resting in me.

Multitudes of bound ones have been set free and a vast people who will know their Father continue be liberated and will bring wholeness and peace form the Sunshine Coast to the Siskyou and from the Olympic Coast to the Rockies.

Don’t weep for the ones I sent out who have died where you are and live where I am. Look, and see them in those they’ve birthed, those they’ve equipped, and those they’ve trained. You’ll see their hands multiplied in the children of their love for my Bride and I, and those sons and daughters will do more, and more freely than the fathers ever dreamed of doing.

Spontaneous worship in streets and squares.
Sudden invasions of freedom in stores and parks.
Floods of healing on every corner and under every tree.

A plain illustration of the love of the Father spread abroad in the hearts of men, bringing peace and wholeness.

Many will be confused and don’t recognize what I’m doing and some of them will seem intimidating to you. But don’t be afraid to demonstrate my love. It is more extravagant and reaches much farther than many know.

Didn’t I tell you it would be something you haven’t seen before? Don’t be surprised if it is seems strange! Why are you amazed when I told you it was new, and not like what you have seen before?

But you will see me do more than you could ever ask, think, or imagine. I’ve already started!

Don’t hesitate.
Don’t hold back.
Don’t wait.

Run to the lonely.
Bind the broken.
Love the ugly.

The false little wind is stopping.
A great Wind has begun to blow,

pushing the sea before it!

Prophetic word for 2014

As I write this word for 2014, it is my deepest desire to correctly articulate what the Holy Spirit has given me for the New Year. 1 Corinthians 13:9 says “For we know in part and we prophesy in part” with that understanding, this is my portion for the body of Christ.

Spirit, Soul & Body
The Spirit of the Lord is bringing healing to the Church as a whole person this year spirit, soul & body. God is bringing the Church into a new alignment with His will and purposes that will greatly affect His people for the good. The areas of your life that have not been in agreement with the Holy Spirit are going to be brought to light this year for the purpose of healing, restoration and deliverance. Where there have been wounds from the past that have hindered your ability to function in wholeness, God is doing a deep work that will produce abundant life in His people.

The Apostle Paul wrote the following:
1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is expanding His kingdom into many places of influence where the Church needs to be ready to demonstrate Gods love. This is why there needs to be wholeness in the body of Christ, so we can give out of the depth of love that has been poured into our hearts through Christ. Its time for the Church to be whole!
Overcoming dualism
God is dealing with wrong understandings that have created conflict within the Church about the spirit and the soul. There have been dualistic teachings that have kept many people in bondage to a performance based relationship with God. This kind of teaching has been harmful to the body of Christ because it separates the spiritual from the natural, and creates a wrong understanding of how God views the individual person. Many people have been taught that the spirit is good, but the soul and body are corrupt, needing to be brought into submission to the spirit. This understanding is incorrect, and does not take into account that the spirit and soul are deeply intergraded and do not function apart from one other. God wants the Church to stop living their lives miserably for Him, to stop living as though we are not pleasing God because of a lack of spiritual performance (not enough prayer, not reading the bible, or denying self). There are multiple layers to what this looks like, but I feel like God is going to give the Church greater revelation regarding how much He loves us (our entire being) and how to function as a whole person in the earth.
Led by the Spirit
The Father has been looking for sons & daughters that will yield to the leading of His Spirit. This will become clearly evident in the days ahead, as God is going to display His purposes through those that are led by the Spirit of God, and not by the spiritual climate in the world.  The leading of the Holy Spirit is going to take on a new dimension in 2014, because many people are being freed from patterns of living and wrong thinking that have hindered their walk with God; He is going to free many for the purpose of leading many.

Romans 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Character matters
2014, will be a time when the character of Christ is going to come to the forefront of the Church. There has been a great imbalance regarding our focus on the power and works of God, yet operating without the character of God. God wants His Church to function with all the resources of heaven, but He also wants His people to function with His character.

Character can be defined as the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves, someone’s personality. God is going to develop the character of Christ in His people that desire to be more like Him, this will require a much needed sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as He shows us the things that need changed in our hearts and minds. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is going to appear in the lives of Gods people this year in an extraordinary way, due to a willingness to yield to His inward working.

God is also in the process of redefining what ministry looks like, He is getting to the core of our value system, regarding what we do. Ministry by definition is about serving others, not about serving yourself. Everything Jesus did was for the benefit of others, from turning water into wine, to washing the disciple’s feet; He taught that whoever wants to be greatest must become a servant of all. I feel like God is going to give us new perspective regarding ministry, He is reveling the motives and intentions of the heart as we move forward into maturity.
The last will be first
We have entered a time where the last will be first, and the first will be last. Many people have bypassed Gods way to get to the front of the line in regard to “success” at any cost. There have also been many people that have chosen to take the lowest seat; and have not attempted to be first in line. Because of this decision, not to run to the front of the line, they will not be passed by in this new season. God is going to promote many people who have been patiently waiting their turn. He is going to exalt those who have humbled themselves, and bring low, those who have been unwilling to humble themselves.

Luke 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

There has been a refining fire moving through the body of Christ that is now causing a deep humility to flow out of the hearts of Gods people. This humility is an entrance into a deeper intimacy with the Lord. God is going to exalt those who have chosen to humble themselves over this past year, as He has been doing an inward work in His people that have yielded their hearts to Him. (Luke 14:7-11)

Identity being restored
We have entered a time of full restoration, as the Father is restoring the identity of His sons and daughters who have forgotten who they were, and have departed from His will. The enemy has attempted to destroy the lives of many people, and keep them from accomplishing what God has purposed for their lives. The Lord is intervening on their behalf right now, and bringing to their remembrance the Fathers love for them. This is a time where those that have seemingly departed from the Fathers will, and chosen a path in life that has led them to destruction, are going to “come to their senses” and return to their Fathers house. The Father is going to place the robe of identity and the ring of authority on many sons and daughters that have walked away and been hurt in the body of Christ. He is restoring their identity, because they belong to Him. (Luke 15:11-32)

Financial independence
2014 will be a year of financial independence for many people. There are wise investments, and financial breakthroughs that God will give insights and strategy for, if we are willing to wait for His leading. 2014 will be a year when multiplication comes upon many people’s finances; as we are entering into a time when people are going to experience what it truly means to be debt free. Many people are going to experience ownership for the first time, I feel like there will be houses, lands, cars, investments that are paid for in full this year, giving people full ownership of what they posses.

In early 2013 the Lord spoke to me about the price of silver, that it was a good time to buy and invest, I believe there are many opportunities to increase financially if we ask the Lord to show us.

Love breakthrough
The Holy Spirit is highlighting 1 Corinthians chapter 13 this year. Because there has been a surface understanding of love that the Church has demonstrated to the world, I feel like we are going to experience a deeper revelation and demonstration of love this year that will transform us into a greater expression of Jesus Christ. God has given the Church a clear blueprint of what love looks like as we read the verves below:

 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

Jesus Christ is the complete definition and fulfillment of true love; I believe the Church is going to experience a love breakthrough this year that will change our priorities and reshape our focus back to His character and likeness.

Blessings,
Josh Crofton

The Seat of Administration

Introduction: I've been hearing Father speak to this topic for a few days, waiting for confirmation.
This word comes from just outside the "Northwest" region (Denver, CO), but I believe that this is definitely for our NW region as well.

--

He said, I’ve seen your thoughts each day, wondering what your purpose is and thinking how insignificant your realm of responsibility is. I told you that realm is your kingdom. I gave it to you. But you didn’t grasp your daily responsibilities administering it from your heavenly seat; your throne.

You saw that concept as some pretty, flower pictures given to you by Me, but not comprehending the importance of that seat of administration. If you don’t administer your kingdom, then no one else will, and everyone inside is subject to the small insidious deteriorations of life in this earth without Heaven overseer-ship.

Remember I said the devil roams around looking who he may devour. He doesn’t sleep. He looks for those small holes of deterioration. And he finds them. Now you are beginning to grasp the weighty importance of your seat.

I told you that it was one of Love. It is. You Administer from Love and through Love, and guided by Love. But you Must Administer. You cannot pray a prayer for your family and friends once a week, blessing them all and expect that to suffice; especially if you do it as chanting a sing-song by rote. Love is Me and you must Administer through Me. It’s different every day. There are different deteriorations, different holes. Some are imperceptible to you except that I show them to you.

You say that you love Me. And I know that is true because I placed it within you. Now I’m teaching you how to Administer from that seat I gave you.

Sit on it every morning. Sit. Sit IN ME. Sit and look around. Survey the landscape in the new light of morning. See it anew each day. Do not look at a list of prayers. Ask me to see it all; the new growth and the new deteriorations.

Some points of weakness will require daily work, but see even those anew each day. See the new repairs, the beginning of repairs, and the new growth. Then add to them rather than hash over the repair of yesterday. Don’t be lazy and rely on repetition ever. It never heals or restores or loves. And sometimes it creates the hole from its constant rubbing in the wrong place.

I’ve also been teaching you to rest. You have learned that it is almost contrary from everything you’ve been taught. It involves joy and celebration sometimes. Sometimes it involves putting your feet up and basking in sweet music AND resisting the urge to feel guilty for not being BUSY. I’m not a BUSY God; however, I’m extremely effective and accomplish great feats. You will too. As you rest.

Now rest on your seat of Administration over the kingdom I have given you. Relax and enjoy the music and the beauty. Smile and be full of Joy as you survey the contour of the landscape I have given you. Relish its beauty and wonder.

And notice the tiny hole that pops up unexpectedly. Ask Me to fix your eyesight to see them instantly before they have even created incident; before the enemy has arrived to see it. Fix it instantly. Don’t WORK over it in STRIVING and LABOR. But rather hear my heart in the matter and respond immediately. Often it’s such a small response you will think it warranted much more involvement; but rather Love’s eyes focused on a tiny hole will heal it.

This is your destiny; your position in ME; your Inheritance. Guard it; Love it; Guide it; Cherish it; Keep it; and I will give you more.

My eyes shine brightly as I watch you grow in stature and maturity, walking in the path, My path; lavished in My Love, and lavishing those I have given you.

I kiss you my darling, my Bride.

Warriors of Truth are Being Sent to Penetrate the Lies of Darkness

Introduction: This word is not specific to the Pacific Northwest, but many northwest prophets are seeing and experiencing similar things. Victoria declares it extremely well.

In prayer I was shown a vision. In it I saw misguided people who were the enemies of Truth rallying together to deceive the saints; they were being guided by demonic forces who used them like toys. Great effort was being made by the realms of darkness to bring confusion and stir up strife among the brethren, to break up friendships that gave strength and encouragement to the saints. I saw the enemies of Truth entering the lives of those who have been wounded by rejection and held in bondage by fear. They spoke demonically-induced lies with great power to deceive them in their weakened condition.

Victoria Boyson

Ironically, the lies of darkness actually seemed like "real truth" to them and the enemies of Truth seemed like great saints. They appeared as though they were God's answer for the loneliness and pain they were feeling, so they opened their hearts to them. Because they came into agreement with the lies and their love grew painfully cold, they began to attack their brothers and sisters in Christ with accusation and judgment. Consequently, their attacks unleashed powers of destruction on the Church.

Just when it seemed the saints would falter under the heavy assault, I saw the great warriors of Heaven rally their armies in preparation to invade earth and dispel the enemies of Truth. They only waited for the command to do so from the saints—for their cry for help. Under the weight of accusation, the saints began to weep. Their tears unleashed the army of Heaven to attack the realms of darkness.

The Judgments of the Lord

It was then I saw a heavenly warrior filled with great power, radiating a glorious light, entering the home of my enemy. This man had been used by the realms of darkness to rain down curses on my head; he was very jealous and filled with hatred toward me. However, even though I knew his dislike for me was great, I feared for him because the power of the heavenly warrior was great. I saw the warrior stand before him and draw its sword, which was enormous and gave off a great light.

I wondered at the sight of what was about to occur and thought, "Can it be God's will to destroy my enemy?"

I heard the warrior speak an answer to the question of my heart and say, "I have been given authority to execute the judgments of the Lord."

Then the warrior, standing over my enemy, raised the sword and thrust it into his heart. It was difficult for me to watch, because I truly loved my enemy and had prayed for him for a long time. I did not want to see him destroyed. Indeed, I had wept and prayed that he would completely surrender his life to the Lord and not allow the enemy to use him any longer.

The warrior knew the thoughts of my heart and spoke again to me saying,"This sword is the sword of Truth, and will dispel the lies of darkness that have taken over his heart."

Then I looked at the sword and saw that, in its radiance, it seemed to be alive and was pulsating. As its large blade rested in my enemy's heart, the Light it held began to fill his body; like melting gold, the Light seeped into his chest. At first, he lay motionless as if the sword had no affect on him, but then I saw his face cringe as if in pain and I sensed brokenness enter his heart. Sorrow was invading his soul as the truth of his actions was shown to him. The spirit of repentance was dispelling the demonic lies, and darkness was fleeing from him as tears ran down his face.

I looked again to watch the heavenly warrior who had come to execute the judgments of the Lord on my enemy. He watched with determined anticipation as the sword did its work on the man. Turning to me, the warrior told me, "Your love for this man made this possible for him. I came to him only because you chose to love him in spite of his attacks against you and your family. You chose to love him, and because your Father loves you, He was compelled to touch the man for your sake."

I was shocked! I wept at the words the warrior spoke because I knew that it was only because of my love for Christ that I loved my enemy.

Treasure the Lord Longs to Uncover

In myself, I wanted to hate him. Indeed, I wanted him to suffer as he had made me suffer. My first thoughts at the onslaught of his attacks against me were to call upon God to execute vengeance against the man. But I saw that the longer I clung to thoughts of judgment toward him, the more distant Christ became to me.

It was only because of my desperate need and love for Christ that I forced myself to pray for him. I asked God to give me love for him, because I simply had none of my own. I had no desire to forgive, but I asked God to give me that as well. And when He had changed my heart, I could honestly say, "I love him," and mean it.

It scared me to remember how easy it would have been for me to condemn the man and how close I came to doing it. It was truly only because Christ loved me that I felt the need to love this man.

Could that one small decision to love and forgive him have brought about his redemption and activated the armies of Heaven to fight for him? I was astonished to think that his deliverance at this moment came only because of that one small choice I made to stand with Christ.

Now, I stand in awe as I see the transformation of someone I thought was unredeemable. I had, in the past, desperately pleaded with God to remove him from my life, so he would no longer have the power to hurt me. I couldn't understand why He wouldn't do it. It was, however, because He wanted to use me to change this man's life, and in the process of helping him, my own heart was transformed as well.

Yes, his redemption has truly changed us both. My earthly enemy was not my enemy after all; he was the treasure that the Lord had longed to uncover, if only I were willing to help him.

Liberating the Lost

Now I see the warriors of Truth have invaded other lives across the earth as the hearts of the saints have cried out for the souls of men. They are liberating the lost from the darkness that bound them as the saints of Christ cling to the Cross of love and hold it high above them in a defiant reply to the attacks of the accuser of the brethren.

The treasured friendships among the saints that seemed hopelessly broken are being miraculously restored, and they have received a greater level of appreciation for one another. The cold love that had tried to force them to fear one another has been flung aside and radical, self-less love has become their war cry!

Darkness had them bound, but the TRUTH Himself has set them free, and whom the SON sets free is free indeed!

Battle Formations

I saw a formation of battle ships steaming towards the war zone, which was still some miles ahead. The battle group consisted of fifteen or twenty

ships, surrounding a large aircraft carrier in its center. The other ships were support and protection for the aircraft: supply ships, fuel carriers, guided missile cruisers, anti-aircraft warships, submarines, anti submarine frigates, and a couple of large battleships. There were also cargo ships & troop ships traveling with the battle group. I was aware that all together, this formation carried an amazing amount of firepower.

The formation is the church, and she is going to war. She's moving slowly, but she's headed to the theater of war.

As I watched, the carrier at the center of the of the formation launched dozens, if not hundreds, of aircraft. Squadron after squadron swarmed off the flight decks, formed up their positions, and headed off towards the field of battle. The air around the battle group was thick with them, and with all different sizes, shapes and configurations. There were hornets and super-hornets, tomcats, raptors, corsairs, and many other fighters filling the skies and heading towards the horizon. There were also support aircraft: early warning radar planes, electronic warfare planes, anti-submarine helicopters in the air, watching over the battle group. Supply aircraft flew back and forth from the ships' base behind them.

The carrier deck was constantly busy as fighters returned from raining destruction on enemy strongholds, bringing down enemy aircraft, or otherwise completing their missions. Occasionally, a fighter would return slowly, trailing smoke, and the decks would be cleared so she could land safely. The fighters were constantly returning for resupply, new orders and refreshment before launching on another mission. The battle group was involved in a war, but the field of battle was a long way off, over the horizon. The reality was that if the battle ever came to this formation of ships, it would have already lost; a substantial number of the ships and not a few of the aircraft were dedicated to exactly that: preventing attack on the ships that were launching, retrieving and supporting warcraft.

After this had gone on for a while, some of the crew of the support ships and others not directly involved with the aircraft and their missions began to notice, and they began to ask questions about the aircraft who were always coming and going. Why were these people leaving the safety of the formation and heading into dangerous places? Didn't they know that life is safer on the ships than flying into battle? And when the fighters came back injured, or didn't come back at all, fingers were pointed: See! You shouldn't do such dangerous things!

The fighters became aware of the the conversations and it confused them. Don't they know that we're a battle group? That's our purpose: battle. But some of them listened, and wouldn't fly into battle anymore. Others flew towards the battle, but veered off for other destinations, imagining a community of only fighters, forgetting that the fuel and ammunition both came from the support ships. And a few threw themselves into the battle so completely that they no longer had fuel enough to make it back to the ships, and when their tanks were empty and they spiraled towards the earth, they imagined their deaths as glorious.

Brothers and sisters, our purpose is to expand a kingdom. The command is to "make disciples of all nations." Some of us are called to direct action, and are launched toward distant cultures or unfamiliar populations. Others have a primary responsibility in the realm of support, or early warning, or defensive action. But the ultimate reason for our existence, all of our existence, is "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done."

I believe that our present position as the Church is steaming our way toward the field of battle with a focus that I don't believe we have had since the birth of the modern missions movement early in the last century. Some from among our number are flying high enough to see the field of battle, a few are already engaged there, while many others, perhaps the majority of the Church, aren't even aware that we're on course for a very big war.

This war won't be fought with actual aircraft or literal guns; it is to be fought with weapons of prayer, of mercy, of relationships, all as fierce expressions of love.

Fresh Rivers Of God’s Love--Dive In Today!

I believe we are coming into a season of time where the love of God is going to be expressed through believers in levels we have only dreamed of. God is love, and as followers of Christ, we are commanded to love one another (John 15:12).

Mankind desperately needs a touch from the loving arms of Jesus. The Lord is raising up a new breed of believers that will be so consumed with the love of God, that many of the social ills and turmoil of man’s heart will be transformed in a moment, as the pure river of God’s love pours through a generation of believers.

Everywhere I travel, whether America or abroad, I find that people are very critical towards the Church, organized religion, or Christians in general. I just returned from the Netherlands, and some great friends of mine shared about the fear they have even bringing up the name Jesus because of painful attacks that often come their way. It is very difficult to hear how pre-believers view the Christian faith. Can the love of God change the hearts of people in this hour? I am so thankful that there is a light that shines in the darkness. Christ in you, the hope of glory.

I Corinthians 13:13 -- “And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.”

Moving in the opposite spirit

During my time with YWAM (Youth with a Mission), I was taught over and over again to respond in the opposite spirit when I am tempted to react in the flesh. If you are a greedy person, then try purchasing someone’s groceries in front of you the next time you are in the checkout line, and watch the look on their face--it will amaze you. You will notice as you make these random acts of kindness, the Lord will turn you into an extravagant giver.

One of the most powerful weapons we have as believers is the unconditional love of Christ flowing through us. As we move in the opposite spirit of the world, loving people, even those that are the most difficult to love, we defuse the wounded hearts of the lost and many people move into relationship with Jesus.

One of the keys to gaining victory over the image the world and media has painted of us is a Fresh Baptism of God’s love. Mankind is desperately in need of love that is pure, asking for nothing in return. How much of the love of God do you receive and manifest on the earth today? I know there is always more when we ask Him. “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love” (John 15:9). Let us dive deeper in the river of God’s love than ever before, and let His love splash on everyone who comes in contact with us!

Love for the Body of Christ

Many of us are familiar with the term “friendly fire.” This is a military term that describes when a soldier is accidentally shot by a fellow soldier. This term is also used in the Church when one believer attacks another. If you have been around long enough, you have probably heard too many stories about one member of the Body talking about another in a nonproductive way. This is a very painful and damaging method the devil has used for years to wrap chains around the hearts of believers, holding them captive. Wounded people wound others, and often we keep shooting at our wounded instead of coming with an embrace of unconditional love.

I have seen in recent years a greater amount of love being expressed across denominational lines than ever before. We may worship and pray differently and have different ministry styles than the church across town, but our ultimate goal is the same: loving God with all our hearts and making Him known around the planet.

I am able to learn volumes of truths from my Baptist and Lutheran friends. They have completely different styles of worship and ministry, but I still learn from them and value their amazing ministries. I see many people who choose to focus more on our similarities then our slight differences. We all want to see the lost saved and healed. There is plenty of space on this planet for each of our unique “Jesus-centered” ministries.

Ask the Lord to give you an amazing love for those ministries and churches around you that worship and act a little differently than you. The funny thing is that you may think they are odd, but they more than likely feel the same about you. The Lord is not worried about our slight differences. He gave each of us a personality, and many of us are drawn to different streams. I personally like to take a swim in many of the streams out there; I enjoy a wide variety of ministry styles and cultures. The cool thing about the Lord’s grand design is this: all the streams eventually end up in a river, and then all the rivers will wind up in the ocean. We are all part of the same Body, so let us grow in love for each other.

Mark 12:30-31 -- “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Winning the lost through God’s Love

Have you ever mustered up your courage to step out and share Jesus to a friend or someone you met at the mall? You take a few deep breaths and begin to share your faith. Moments later you wish you had never opened your mouth, as you are blasted with an onslaught of attacks about the faith you hold so dear. We have all been there before if we have shared our faith more than a handful of times.

I understand that there will always be people who oppose the Gospel, no matter how many signs and wonders they see that are motivated by the love of God. Jesus had many enemies, and He shared that we would also if we walk as He did. John 15:18 -- “If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.” The key is how many of these precious people can we win over with the love of God flowing through us?

I fully support witnessing, power evangelism, words of knowledge, prophecy, and healing to lead people to Jesus (Mark 16:20). These are some of the best methods to win the lost; however the motivation behind it should be dripping with the Love of God.

The Apostle Paul shares about the necessity for believers to live in the river of God’s love. I Corinthians 13:1-3 says:

“If I speak in the tongues of mortals and angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body to be burned, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

Paul understood the importance of walking in the love of God. Chapters 12 and 14 of I Corinthians speak in great detail of the spiritual gifts that are available to each believer. It is amazing to see how chapter 13 is nestled in between these two chapters on spiritual gifts. I believe the Lord wants us to see that His love is more important than any gift that we may desire or currently operate in. The world does not care how well you can prophesy, they want to know how much you love. Paul urges us in I Corinthians 14:1 to “Pursue love and strive for the spiritual gifts, and especially that you may prophecy.”

There is access in this hour to move deeper into the loving heart of our Father. As the gifts of the Spirit flow through the lives of believers in increased levels, it is critical that the love of God increase in our lives. The invitation has always been there, but I see a greater amount of people stepping into the love of God than every before. We are His body, and His love will shine through us like never before. Let us pursue love like we never have before. Make the pursuit of love a priority in your life. You will find the gifts of the spirit in you dramatically more effective when they are dripping with the love of God.

Lord, I ask that You would fill us with the fresh river of Your love. I pray that You would touch our hearts and baptize us with Your never-ending love. Lord, let Your love shine through us like never before and anoint us with creative ways to see souls around this planet saved by the power of Your love. Amen

I John 3:11 -- “This is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that you should love one another.”

12 Prophetic Signposts for 2008

By Matt Sorger

As I have been waiting on the Holy Spirit throughout the month of January I have been processing in my spirit several prophetic themes. The listing below includes many of the things Holy Spirit has been stirring in my heart as we move into 2008. I also feel that some of what I shared for 2007 is still being carried over into 2008 and has not reached its full development. I encourage you to also read our 2007 article to continue to lay hold of the Father’s heart for this generation of believers and for your life personally. Take some time to meditate and pray over the Key Scriptures included with each prophetic highlight. I pray these words are a blessing to you.

1) God is about to invade His church. Jesus is inspecting His Father’s temple. Some tables are going to be overturned this year. Don’t be dismayed when you see this happen. It is the hand of the Lord. God is refining the inward motives of the heart. Any work done with a selfish, self-seeking motive will not survive the refining fire. Key Scriptures: Mt 21:12; 1 Cor 3:13, 4:5

2) God is calling the church to return to and re-strengthen the foundations of our faith and personal walk with Him and our ministries. A refining fire is coming and anything not built on a foundation of love will not stand the testing. God is inspecting our works. He wants work motivated by first love, not empty activity. Some lamp stands will be removed this year. Anything not built on love will be shaken. Key Scripture: Rev 2:4-5

3) There will be many “love-tests” this year. People will be given opportunities to grow in true Christ-like love. God will allow moments of difficulty and challenge to teach us to walk and live in love. He is taking us deeper into the gospel of the Kingdom, which is to love God with all our hearts and to love people. God is really bringing a revival of true heartfelt love. God wants to invade whole cities and regions. The key that will unlock cities and bring a move of God like the Welsh Revival of 1904 will be a revelation and reality of Kingdom love. Key Scriptures: 1 Pet 4:12-13; Mt 22:36-40

4) New ministries will be birthed this year. There will be another wave of launching ministries. God has been laying foundations and now is the time to take action and step out into the fullness of the call of God. Some “good things” will have to be let go of in order to lay hold of God’s best. It truly will be a season of “new beginnings” for many. Key Scripture: Gen 12:1

5) The apostolic mandate will continue to mature and come into greater manifestation this year as the church is “sent by God” into the marketplace, highways and byways to see the gospel of the Kingdom advance forward. There will be a fresh emphasis on souls, church planting and discipling new believers. We will see a new wave of evangelism released through apostolic order. God is stirring the body to aggressively pursue creative miracles and deliverance. Look for opportunities for God to move outside of church meetings. If you make yourself available He will move in the most unexpected places. Key Scriptures: Luke 14:23; John 1:6-8

6) God will reveal to the church the true prosperity of the Lord. Any prosperity preached with a motive of greed and selfishness will be shaken down so the true prosperity of the Lord can shine forth. Only God knows the motives and intents of the heart. We must be careful not to prematurely judge people or ministries. Let God be the judge. God is refocusing our understanding of biblical prosperity with the truth that we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others and advance the Kingdom of God in the earth. (Remember, prosperity is more than just finances. It also includes divine health, healing, protection, forgiveness, grace, joy, peace, and much more.) God will continue to anoint people with creative business ideas for supernatural wealth to help fund the end-time harvest. Key Scriptures: 2 Cor 9:6-11; Isa 60:11.

7) Foundational truths will be emphasized by the Holy Spirit, including the blood of Christ, the cross of Christ and salvation through repentance of sin. Key Scriptures: Eph 1:7; Col 1:14; Gal 6:14

8) God is causing us to inspect and re-strengthen our foundation so He can bring multiplication and increase. Anything done with a pure motive and built on a foundation of selfless love will see a wonderful multiplication and increase this year. That which has a solid foundation will be multiplied in 2008.

9) God is teaching His people how to operate in dominion from a position of rest. We must know how to use governmental Kingdom authority from a place of resting in Christ’s finished work. Both dominion and rest are being highlighted by the Holy Spirit. This dominion will cause the enemy to be displaced out of the land of our inheritance so that we can not only possess but be multiplied in that land. Key Scriptures: Col 1:13; Josh 6:1-2, 15-16.

10) An apostolic shift of focus is coming into how we view the “church”. God will continue to give us understanding into the practical functions of the apostolic. God is shifting the vision of leaders beyond their own kingdom onto His Kingdom. A baptism of love will cause leaders to understand “the church” is not just their local congregation, but it is the corporate body within that city, nation and world! Greater expressions will be given to the corporate church. God wants leaders and churches to have a heart for one another.

God wants to invade, awake and transform whole regions and cities. Apostolic leaders will be raised up transforming local churches into holy habitations of God’s glory that release the body of Christ into greater fullness and manifestation. Pastors and other five-fold ministries called to the apostolic will continue to shift this year in their vision and function. Some churches will make the transition from “local church” to “regional apostolic centers”. Through the apostolic we will see a greater merging together of the prayer movement, evangelism and church planting. The prayer movement and power movement will come together in a greater way.

11) This will be a year of understanding God’s great grace on many levels. We will hear a lot about grace, faith and love. Key Scriptures: Gal 5:6; 1 Tim 1:14

12) Those with media mantles given in 2007 will see an increase and expansion in the media in 2008. God and His current day move will be seen on both Christian and secular television. God is invading the airwaves with His glory. We will also see the “face” of Christian TV changing.
